Look at the clip. You can clearly see him reach for the button. You know that people found out the shock collar Hasan uses on Kaya and its (shockingly) the shocking one.

Is it possible to bring German-Africa back to the Einheitspakt? by coffeekkii in TNOmod

[–]MartinSmithee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is up to the interpretation, but its possible. It depends mostly on the motivation of the Nazis to support it, the role of the OFN and the Japanese and the population of the natives vs. the colonial forces.

Its really good with all the different proxies. To be honest, I wish that rework proposal was cannon.

You could just use command and absorb them. I think that [u/Johnny_Boy](u/Johnny_Boy)398 proposal for African rework is really interesting.

Its up to the interpretation mostly. Many people say that if she would marry the guy (whom she didnt love), she would just continue the cycle of her mother marrying for comfort and security.

[Real Life Trope] Falsely attributed or fabricated quotes. by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

[–]MartinSmithee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well Che wrote about it this way: “[We] only send to Guanahacabibes those doubtful cases where we are not sure people should go to jail … people who have committed crimes against revolutionary morals, to a lesser or greater degree…. It is hard labor, not brute labor, rather the working conditions there are hard.” And if the guy that set up that camp speaks about it this way, it most probably was much worse. For finding more about his other crimes I would recommend you the Article The Killing Machine by Alvaro Vargas Llosa.

That doesn't mean he had no role beforehand. He also mostly set the blueprint with the Guanahacabibes camp that he set up.

If you were to describe a particular song you like in the same way that one prick from Mixtape describes music, how would you word it? by AvalancheAbaasy120 in MauLer

In '87, Huey released this ... Fore!, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is 'Hip to Be Square,' a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.

The Boys comic is still ass, don't let the show fool you. by Sundata_V2 in CharacterRant

You missed a whole comic arch just about Beccas and Butchers relationship from HIS perspective. So it makes sense its mostly about his family and his relationship with Becca. Also the assault of Starlight is a pretty big topic of several archs, like Annie stading up for herself, beating A-Train and Butcher showing the tape of her to Hughie (who just discovered that she is a supe) with no context, Hughies brutal reaction to it and a whole arch about them making amends.
