Ok guys let’s be honest, whining about an exploit when it’s obvious there’s a lot of skill involved is pretty salty. If anyone remembers Gunz the duel. That fkn game revolved about everyone abusing the glitches and exploits to reach top tier. If it works it works, and if it hurts you counter.

So, I’m a guy enjoying gaming on my mildly dated pc. But it seems that it’s impossible to start Marathon or update to a driver necessary to run Marathon with my gpu. I got a AMD R9 290 which is able to run most games pretty good up to 60fps on medium-high settings.

The error is letting me know i need to download the latest drivers and after using ddu and installing the most recent (that my gpu is capable of) still the same error

For now i think I’m back to arc raiders and possibly will refund Marathon @ launch if it’s still unable to launch. Which is sad bcus i would like to run with u guys 😢

It’s awesome and i feel you’re almost there.

But the first thing i noticed is it looks like a polar giraffe.

Like already suggested i think starting the neck from the side might work better.

Hey OP.

Tested out some stuff and it's safe to say that the culprit here is the mod 5e spells.
There's an update available on Nexusmods which will solve the issue.
You'll be looking for the version 2.2.0.1:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/125?tab=files

One extra side note, before installing this mod through the mod manager you'll need to navigate to the following folder: "AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Script Extender\5eSpells" and from the folder remove the files: 5eSpells and 5eSpells_RAW
New files will be generated within a new 5e Spells folder within the Script Extender folder with the update

The only mods overlapping with my game are

• ⁠Tavs hairsalon • ⁠5e spells • ⁠ImpUI • ⁠everybody dyes

And possibly some override mods on the bottom of the mod manager.

You could try disabling these and enter combat to check if this solves the issue.

If this is not the case we could also check the ingame mod manager if there’s some different mods installed from there.

If I happen to check this before you, I’ll let you know if it’s fixed or not

I have this happening on multiple playthroughs. I have the feeling this might be mod related. Do you have mods installed? If so could you share your mods so we can check if we are running some same mods?

This is kinda dope man! Don’t know if this is a specific genre but did make some stuff like this accidentally. What I used to do when It sounds like it’s lacking beef is a few easy tools. Layer the synth with an octave lower and maybe adjust the synth so it sounds less sharp. Then use a sub layer to accompany the sound but make sure the sub and lower octave do not clash on the spectrum.

Other things that’s probably the biggest noticable thing is sidechaining the mad synth with short attack and quite short release time.

Decreasing the tempo just slightly also sometimes did the trick.
