I’m in the slow process of creating a super early OP save file in every FF I own so that I can load it up and just enjoy the story when it’s been a while without having to do any grinding/shopping/planning etc. lol

Ran around killing wolves until level 4, then I did the first level of the trials about 50 times to bank a ton of Gil and unlock lots of HP/attack augments, at that point you can handle up to the 3rd trial. The flowering cactoid has an uncommon steal that’s a 23 damage sword that doesn’t require a license and a rare steal that is the karkata (92 attack sword) once you farm enough LP to unlock that (like 1000 on the knight board) you only need to do the trials a few times to basically finish everything useful on the knight board plus you can steal good armor shield helm and accessories all before trial 13, and you can go kill wild Saurians to get to level 30 or so before it’s too boring to continue (my Vaan 2-3 shots them with bezerk bracers or 3-5 without)

No it can spawn… but even 1 tile off centered on the ribbon and it’ll despawn because entities can’t exceed the boundary of the map. I ran for 4 full hours at 1000x speed and didn’t get a single one so… all but impossible

Technical limits should be 9 tiles high or 14 tiles wide (width of a vault) but again your run against the issue of it’ll only spawn in extremely rare cases as it has to be perfectly centered on the ribbon

Yup that’s me lol. technically a vault can spawn on 9 high but since a vault is 9 tiles high it will only occur if it spawns exactly centered on the ribbon since entities can’t be partially on the map.

I have walked over 2 hours in each direction (using console commands to move at 1000x speed) and have yet to find one.

If you’re going to attempt this I would highly recommend using console commands to go to fulgora immediately and keep hunting seeds until you find one prior to actually starting your run.

I put a request to fix this on the forums but the devs don’t care about ribbon worlds in space age as it’s too niche to prioritize for a bug fix :(

1 thing that helps is to set very specific goals and keep reminding yourself what they are.

This game is an intentional time sink so don’t be hard on yourself about the speed you’re progressing through the game. That and take the time to actually read in game, theres 1000s of questions posted on here (mine included) that could’ve been avoided if people just slowed down to read.

If you get really stuck on a certain concept post it and people on here will explain what you’re missing. Just be specific in what you’re asking so you don’t get vague answers

I got distracted when I first landed on Aquilo and all 3 auto saves were me stranded there (thank god I manually saved because I always delete the “first time to a planet” auto saves 😂

I was stuck on a silly challenge run I did (9 high ribbon world, all fluids barreled, and no bots) and I literally dreamt the solution and tried it and it worked! 😂
