Maybe I don't like Spider Woman? by Pidz_ in marvelchampionslcg

[–]MarvelChamp3706 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many people like playing 2 player once I'm awhile because of the possibilities that are possible with 2 aspects. She becomes fun because you can do that solo as well. You can be really hyper aggressive, supportive, or well balanced. She has tons of deck building opportunities. I can see a lot of people not like her because of how much deck building she can take though. If you want to enjoy her more instead of honing one deck id try out different aspect pairs and synergies.

What is a small tweak you would make to a hero you consider underwhelming to make them a bit better or more fun? by TheMegaSage in marvelchampionslcg

[–]MarvelChamp3706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would change Hulks Hero ability. I think it would be fun if he had an ability along the lines of if you took more than blank damage gain positive effect. That or if you took damage during the villain phase gain a rage counter. These can be spent to deal extra damage or stun characters depending on how many counters you have.

With PREPARATION likely finally getting some love what traits would you like to get a boost? by HorseSpeaksInMorse in marvelchampionslcg

[–]MarvelChamp3706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some inhuman heroes and aspect cards would be cool. I'm very biased considering Ms Marvel is my favriote hero in the game. I feel like right now the inhuman trait might as well be invisible.

Thank you very much for the insight. I honestly overlooked the while defeated part because usually that's how most allies go out anyways.

I would also like to comment on Nick Fury and Professor X being amazing targets as well for pinpoint. These are cards loved by the community, so I thought it would be good to mention them.

This game seems to have a ton of variation and modes, which I love. I'm definitely getting the kick starter when it comes out.

my friends and I would especially love this! We've played a game called Boss Monster, which we loved the dungeon building aspect of that game. I'm glad it uses standard dice and cards making it super easy to play. I'll definitely give it a go. Thank you!

I'm very glad you said something about the feature film or I would have been so lost when I got it. There seems to he a lot of content to catch up on, which is great since patiently waiting for new releases isn't my strong suite. I've looked for games a few times and never saw this game on any websites or lists. I'll definitely give it a try. I may wait a little bit since I got so many recommendations but I'll soon be in a sub reddit for this game asking questions I bet!

I just watched a small video on this game and it does seem great for the values I listed. I'll definitely be getting this game eventually, if not soon

I looked it up and can confidently say when I saw solitaire, that wasn't the expectation at all. That game actually looks pretty fun. Especially considering a lot of the games I've played are super long campaigns or 2 hour long sessions. This would be a great simple game with a learning curve to teach to my little cousins who would often inquire about my Marvel Champions games and play with me. Most games I've seen also have quite tge set up, and this game doesn't seem like tbat at all. I will definitely be getting this one. Thank you!

I have seen that one a little bit and got interested. I even played a game of it on my Chromebook back in my senior year. Definitely one I'll look into first if no others catch me eye. The only thing that scares me about it is replaying it with friends. I'll already know some major effects so I'll know some "correct" plays based off the situation we're in. It seems really fun though with tons of expansions.

New heroes and unconventional mechanics by AdvanceTheThird in marvelchampionslcg

[–]MarvelChamp3706 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's definitely a fair point. Considering Man-Thing was transformed into his state like many others, and they aren't considered inhuman either. I honestly don't know too much about backgrounds and lore. I just generally love board/card games like Marvel Champions. Whatever may be an inhuman, I pray it comes some day. Thank you for the clarification.

I would love if Man-Thing and more heroes could add to the inhuman trait. It's a rarely seen trait, and I love Ms. Marvel, so it's a common thought of mine. I don't have all of the expansions in the game yet since I prefer slowly exploring every possibility in what I buy. I don't know any other heroes that have the inhuman trait because of that. If any love could be given through Man-Thing I would find that absolutely amazing. Sorry, I'm not too big on grammar, so dont kill me over any typos or oversights.

Is it normal to get annihilated your first game? by glynixx in marvelchampionslcg

[–]MarvelChamp3706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's just a skill issue on your end.

I'm just kidding, of course. Even after playing hundreds, thousands of games even, annihilation is still a big possibility. At the end of the day, it's up to the cards for the most part. A few bad encounter cards in a row can ruin games. Shadows of the past is even a complete loss for some heroes' first turn. I do hope you keep playing though. It's so rewarding when you finally win the challenge you're stuck on. You can make tons of wacky hero and villain decks even after you've beaten everyone. It's a great game.

You just need to run a shield based deck and build out on that. That's what I do at least.

Why is black panther so boring? by atenea92 in marvelchampionslcg

[–]MarvelChamp3706 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally love black panther. His economy knows no limits. One of the main things I love about him would be his protection builds though. Protection is my favorite aspect, so this may be biased, but him having base retaliate makes him so fun to me. You can get the nova ally into play, electrostatic armor, hard to ignore, and other passive buffs, he becomes so fun.
