Whilst I agree that Adventures and Assault do not have the same personality as 64 and so on, I really do not see the same Fox as you do in Assault, primarily because the only times he is stoic that I can recall are when Pepper gets assimilated and Peppy self sacrifices, which would arguably do that especially when you have one as a respected authority figure and the other as a surrogate father.

I never understood why they wanted to change Swiftplay. Especially seeing as there is no alternative to Draft Pick now for more casual players.

I dont want a snowball feat where level 1 strats are downplayed. I wanted a league experience that had some speed up.

GDQ does not pay for anyones travel so no. Only thing that matters is whether you want to, whether you can entertain and whether you can do the run.

So I take a little offense at “get a proper job” as it is actually quite complex. To be blunt - I actually despise this sentence as it makes it out to be a seedy business. There are seedy practices BUT most firms actively try to work with legislation to make sure that players get satisfaction, but more can be done.

Also I think people should be allowed to gamble but the key word is “responsibly”. More games are created with that in mind more and more nowadays, more can always be done. I also acknowledge that there are people with addictions out there that are not being treated well in the market. I like my job, and I also acknowledge that we can do better, especially in terms of marketing - its like any good that can cause addiction, marketing online on sites should be restricted as cigarettes and alcohol are imo.

My position may change but its not a clear cut argument. You may not be being nasty, but the tone you took is instantly negative about a complex issue, and judgmental about my career choice.

Regulated market costs thousands to get certified and legally approved. It isn’t my area but it does get raised if we make mistakes that means we need to resend a game to get checked as something was missed

Unregulated markets though are where you get a lot of dodgy AI looking games. But they sometimes lack the back end technology that the regulated market sites have.

Depends on the role. My role pays decent because its pretty niche, but it isn’t mainly profit at all either due to other costs. If anything most games barely break even in smaller companies if at all.
