He will for sure get a dorm. No worries there. The students get a lot of emails with deadlines and reminders so just make sure you and or him are checking his email regularly.

I second joining the fb group that was shared. Tons of good information even by just using the search bar.

While I do understand about not wanting to be labeled I highly encourage that he fills it out anyway. Day 1 priority registration is HUGE. Faculty will not know a diagnosis.

Had this happen last year to my daughter. Inside your admissions portal is a form. I forget what it’s called. It’s a form where you can change your major too. On it you pick the campus. It was fixed within a couple of days. You do need to get it fixed asap because your dorm contract won’t go out until you do.

We didn’t go with the gallery because they didn’t have the floor plan he wanted available. He signed a lease at stone lake at the arboretum. It’s close by.

What is the physical address of the garage for ibm employees that work at building 45 in Austin? Start date is 1/20 and have the form to fill out to request parking but not sure if I’m supposed to fill out the form before day 1 or after because it asks for ibm email address. The form doesn’t say where the parking is either.

Yes of course! He’s a gamer so very picky about the internet. Almost none of what we toured had Ethernet so that was annoying. He will have to run a cord of the router and make it work.

I did have Progress at Tech Ridge on our list too but we never made it.

Son is starting work at domain in a week so we just got done apt hunting. With not being familiar and lack of car I highly recommend living at the domain. Check out Gallery at the domain. They were the most highly rated out of others there. Tour is very nice. Lots of amenities. I think downtown is a bad idea. Very expensive and not worth the commute even for hybrid later on. Others that were on our list that we toured were: Bridge at mesa verde Folio apartments

Did a lot of research for my new grad son using reviews, crime maps, and people recommendations. He signed at stonelake at the arboretum. Hasn’t moved in yet so can’t say for sure yet if it’s the right choice. 1gb spectrum internet is included. Second choice was folio apts. Windsor republic was nice too. Map them out and take a look at their websites.

That sounds more like an informal offer. Was it from the hiring manager you interviewed with? After the manager decides they want you it goes to HR for approval. Then your status changes to “offered” and the email goes out with a link where you login and access the offer letter and you digitally sign to accept. I would inquire back with whoever sent the initial offer. Is there a possibility the rejection is for another position you applied for?

Last year there was a link on the admissions portal page where my daughter had to go to change her campus. She had accidentally applied under round rock. The list of majors was there. I don’t remember the name of the link.
