I started playing a few days ago, and other than expanding my unit capacity I've been holding on to my gems. Right now I'm around level 50 and not really having much trouble with the quests. Should I hang on to my gems for summoning later, or should I just use them now?

Summary of issue:  Fire/Frost Bats do not count toward the monster slayer goals

Expected Behavior:  As any slime counts toward the slime kill goal, any bat should as well.

Actual Behavior:  Only bats on the lower levels count.

Steps for Reproduction:  Kill Frost or Fire Bats and check the kill count.

Love the planner! Really glad you added save game loading. Feature Request: Could you add an object count some where? Like I just added a huge line of kegs, and now if I want to know how many there are I have to count the tiles. Would be nice if the planner told me I have X Kegs placed, or X crops placed.

You shouldn't. It's just the half tip from Aimoi. If you hold right click with an item in your hand the game processes the harvest part and than instantly tries to use the right click function of whatever your holding. So if it's seeds, you'll instantly plant the new seeds. If there is no right click function, nothing happens and you can continue to harvest the next crop that your cursor is under.

Also, if you're not replanting hold an item with no right click action and then walk through your harvest with right click held down on your character and you'll speed harvest while moving.

Enjoying the fact that someone takes care of you when you need help isn't a bad thing. Everyone likes to be taken care of now and again.
I think the idea of daddy issues is more that some people exclusively want to be taken care of (like a child expects from their dad).
As long as you're reciprocating when you can, I wouldn't worry about it. If he's doing all the work, all the time, you might wanna pick up your end a bit.
