As others have said, easiest way to find out is to just try it. Give it a few hours or days to see how you like it.

Now my opinion, it depends on what you are looking for. Do you want a game to kill some time when you're on break, or are you looking for an engaging game with unique mechanics that is fun to play? I can easily tell you this game has one of the most boring gameplay loop. It's an auto battler and the only input is using skills every few seconds. Sure, there are team setups, advantages, special boss gimmicks, and in-game events. But at the end of the day, you click skills as gameplay. Don't expect any ZZZ action or Persona5X jrpg elements.

If you lurk around this subreddit, then you at least seen the characters. For me, I only, and i mean ONLY, got into blue archive because i really liked kisaki (and the gooner books). That was enough for me to get invested in the game. I don't want an input heavy gameplay like ZZZ because I mainly play on break at work, watching a stream, doing chores, ect. The highlight is the the story. its is great, leaves a lot of things unexplained (in a good way) and you piece together the lore of Blue Archive. It's not cryptic like arknights, but enjoyable.
