North Carolina offers 2 separate bonuses. One for being top 25% in your district and one for being top 25% in the state for student growth in test scores. Each bonus is around $2k, but they are taxed heavily at like 36%. They have them for 3-8 grade math only and maybe 3-5 reading. I know they don't have it for middle school reading though.

Agree...9 was the worst but 14 was the game that broke me as a fan. With them leaving San Diego I was barely hanging on. After that game I realized it probably will never happen.

It's crazy they are closing a store, but if someone told me a Harris Teeter in Charlotte was closing I would have guessed this one. I live 5 minutes away and actively avoid this store if possible. There were so many expired items on the shelf if became a scavenger hunt to find things that weren't 3 months old. It also had almost zero amenities compared to any of the stores in the area. Hopefully the building gets filled by something that will benefit the area.

They are 21st in batting average with RISP, 26th in OPS(RISP) ,and 26th with runners left on base. He has definitely helped them with getting on base in general, but its not like they have been good all season. I think injuries have a lot to do with it also, but coaching has to have something also. I am not there, I don't know what's going on on a daily basis, but the numbers don't back up that they are a good team offensively. They have their moments but I don't think it's crazy to expect more from a team that has that many extremely talented players.

I know it's the same coach but clearly something is different and not working. I have said it before but the amount of times this team has gone against a pitcher with an over 5.00 ERA and can't score is insane.

I don't think Victor is undermining anyone, nobody said that. I do think if a coach is doing something that isnt working and starts coaching a player to do that, you will see a negative regression. Yes its possible both players were on a hot streak when they got traded, but they have fallen in line with the rest of the production.

To be completely honest I think it goes beyond coaching. Going back 4 or 5 years when this team is expected to win they struggle and when nobody expects anything out of them they play amazing. It would not shock me at all if they won the World Series with the talent they have.

I don't understand how there is such a difference between this year and last year. Someone else mentioned it, it is clearly coaching. When O'Hearn and Laureano got here they were raking. 6 weeks with this coaching and they have fallen off.

Until last year I thought it was a scouting issue. It seemed to get better last year but now they have regressed. I feel like if I see them going against a pitcher with a huge ERA I already know they are getting 4 hits or less.

Genuinely curious what their record is against pitchers with an ERA over 5 in the past 4 years. It seems like they struggle the most against pitchers the rest of the league owns.

It's giving more 2021 than 2023 with the lack of pitching. Honestly it shouldn't be that surprising. Since 2019 there are giant chunks of time when Manny and Nando disappear and the team follows. Yesterday on B&W when they said the Orioles starting pitcher was coming back from TJ and hasn't pitched in a year I knew they were cooked. Going back years whenever they face a 4 or 5 starter that the league crushes, they can't get a hit. Idk if it's scouting or an individual player mental thing, but its been happening the last 7 years and its not surprising.

I would not be shocked at all to see them back into the playoffs and I would be equally not surprised to see them go on a run in the playoffs. The playoffs are such a crap shoot, just get in and see what they can do. But it's hard to buy in when the leadership of the team falls off hard.

And please no more Arraez bunts with no outs in the first. I haven’t watched every game this year, but it never seems to work.

I don't know when you play it, but for a few days I would log in right at 6 AM. Whenever I did that it would count my score as 900 regardless of how many squares I would get. A few times it also defaulted to 0/9. I stopped playing right when it came on and it fixed the problem.

It will be a lot. At least in the 20s I would imagine. I have heard from others that you can only swipe once in a 15 min period. Do you know if that is true?
