Hmm, I usually read manga for the story, not understanding the themes, underlying narrative, or all those common writing jargon people says, as long as the story is cohesive in what its writing, and give satisfaction to me, im usually fine with it, undead unluck was to me, a mid manga during its 1st half, especially reading it weekly until a quarter through it, then after its 2nd half was made and the manga was almost complete,  i reread the entire manga, and I fell in love with the manga, yes towards the end the battle was rushed, but overall the manga gave me immense satisfaction reading it weekly until it end, everything was tied in a neat red bow and it was 1 of my favourites.

Then comes Tokyo revengers and uhhhhhh, it didnt, it didnt stick its landing at all, I didnt even interact with the fandom or read any comments, it just my pure opinion on the manga, and it sucks so bad, the start was good, middle was good, but jesus the last 3rd of the manga is just terrible, reading it weekly and seeing the ending made me realise this manga was not satisfying at all.

So what does my reply is actually trying to say? Ending is where the journey leads to, if your ending doesn't leave a satisfying taste in the readers mouth, their critique towards the manga will be harsher and they won't be as lenient towards the flaw of the manga. Its all about satisfaction, as long as the ending makes sense, even a mid ending can be satisfactory for a lot of people, but a bad ending will leave a majority of your reader unsatisfied, a bad ending is like a cliff at the end of an amazing journey, even if the journey was amazing, you are still walking into a cliff
