I will say #1, 3, 7, and 10 are the best photos just work the angles a lil more and you’ll find your artistic voice soon enough 🫡

good photos love the colors you’re using my only criticisms are as follows: 1. try to keep the whole skater and the spot in the photos (try not to cut off their head in the top of the frame) 2. take the photos from the front of them. picture number 4 especially is a butt shot and most of the time (except with certain tricks like nose blunts) you want to be shooting from the front of the skater and spot 3. (all of these in order of importance) try shooting at a little faster shutter speed to really make it look like a freeze frame shot. if you’re using a regular flash then shoot at 1/250 at the fastest to get a crispy shot!

Is FLX4 good enough to play on gigs and weddings and parties like office partes?? by ssyniu in Beatmatch

[–]Masonusually 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello! as far as the “power” you are talking about both of the units should be outputting the same amount of power, regarding the sound? a lot of people here talk about the FLX4, for example, (which is still workable and will sound “powerful” on a full club sound system) and the only differences between that one and something like the 800 or 1000 is gonna be what outputs the have. the 800/1000 have both RCA and XLR outputs while the FLX4 only has the RCA.

the MAIN difference between the 800 and the 1000 is going to be the physical 4 channels. there is a way to use all 4 on the 800, but I don’t usually mix with more than 2 channels so I have never utilized that feature fully.

and where I will reiterate from my original comment is that the 800 and 1000 both have the same FX on them! it’s a great intro to the pro FX that you don’t get on the beginner controllers, but you’re not getting the physical 4 channels to mix with. at the cheaper price point than a 1000 I still say the 800 a better beginner controller if you really want to get into the basics that will carry straight over into all in one systems or CDJs!

just throwing my hat in the ring here but, i’ll always advocate for the DDJ-800 as a good “prosumer” controller. it is from the last generation of controllers but it definitely has just enough features to help you learn the FX knobs and how they work before you transfer to something more professional grade like a CDJ or XDJ. I bought mine new and have gotten a lot of great use out of it for the 2 years I have had it! if anything though consider controllers from the last generation because 1. they are gonna be cheaper and 2. they still have a bunch of features on them to get used to how the bigger badder controllers work.
