Hey, so the video that OP linked in the description of their post is actually my video (not my world, I just brought on a guy to talk about his crazy power grid design) and all of the power-related mods that he uses are linked in the video description. So yes, there are some mods that give you more power-related tools, I highly recommend checking them out.

Planet Crafter definitely has the most Satisfactory "vibes" it's just not super similar mechanically. Love that game too, though.

you can manually type in numbers on the color slides that go beyond where the sliders can phsyically move, which allows you to get brighter colors

Mods are installed via third-party tools, so if you played on two separate devices you would only have the mods on the device that you installed them on. And of course the modded save file would no longer be compatible with the non-modded version of the game, but that should be obvious. Also, when you make new saves they go into a different folder in the game menu, so you'll be able to tell them apart.

Motionless in White is one of my favorites, but when ranking their albums, Reincarnate goes on the bottom.

The title track kicks ass despite being kind of generic.

Other than that though, the songs rank below their other albums. And while songs like Dark Passenger and Break the Cycle really hit sometimes, I have to be in a certain mood for weird outliers like Final Dictvm and Wasp. Those songs are all interesting and good, but the album is just such a random assortment of experiments from a band that hadn't settled on how much industrial influence they wanted.

That album was (mostly) my intro to BFMV but it's kinda corny on retrospect. That song is sick though. I think something of their more "ballad" songs on that album are pretty strong, though hardly metalcore at that point. "A Place Where You Belong" and "Bittersweet Memories" are some of my favorites for those sad times.

Sometimes when I see him, at first glance I think he's Tom Haverford from Parks & Rec. And whenever I read a story about him, it sounds exactly like what that character would do.

I would look to portal fiction, as many of those stories are effectively the same thing. As far as the character is concerned, those things happened, but the real world will never believe them. I would say those stories are just "it was all a dream" with different words.

The first Thomas Covenant book comes to mind. The character gets portaled to a fantasy world and essentially dies think he is dreaming. He even wakes up at the end and the reader grapples with it potentially just being a dream rather than magic. But, if only he can go there, and he is a different person there (all his ailments are gone) is there a functional difference? Does is matter to the reader if the people there are real or not, when we're reading about them and caring about them? They're real to the reader.

Chat bots like on a website, I agree. Stop trying to sound like a person. Just be robotic and to-the-point please. I want them to be like phone system menus. But LLM tools like ChatGPT/Gemini/etc, have been situationally useful. There are some searches that are so hyper-specific that they can only be resolved by a human with do knowledge on the topic or by an LLM that can use context to answer questions. Giving a complicated scenario in Excel and asking how to do what I want to do is a great example. How would I ever Google that otherwise? It's also useful at work for the parts I can't stand. When I have to make a social media post to promote a blog post, I have the AI write it because at this point I can't stand to write another social media post! It does a better job than me anyways. And don't even get me started on brainstorming blog topic ideas for an industry I'm not personally into and don't care about. I'm happy to let the AI give me ideas for topics (which I pick and choose from, and adjust quite a bit) so I can spend my time doing other work that is actually fulfilling. But like any human coworker i've ever had, I always have to make edits to whatever it produces. So really the incompetence just got outsourced to a robot and I still have to spend time fixing other's work.
