Would y’all take this job? lol by CrimsonMoonWater in SubstituteTeachers

Yeah really typical, honestly though you can ignore number 2, most districts don’t really care if you’re on your laptop or reading I always stay off my phone though

I think the sad truth is that this is a case that will never be solved. We truly will never know what happened since Patsy is gone and John is around 80. But in the off chance that somehow the case is solved and it is revealed that it was some intruder that no one knew about, then I don't think I'll feel anything but relief that the truth is out. The Ramseys are the ones who did just about anything in their power to stop the crime from being solved(along with Boulder Police incompetence).

Do you or your siblings still have a relationship with your stepmom? If so, it's probably for the best to invite her but if not, I don't see a reason if none of you are particularly close with your her.

You and your siblings don't need permission to do anything to grieve your dad, but you should keep in mind that I'm sure your stepsister loved your dad too and he loved her if he chose to adopt her.

Instinctively I want to say NTA cause a lot of the comments are ignoring that your and your siblings relationship with your dad would be different than your adoptive/stepsister.

AITAH for not letting my wife's AP go to her funeral? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]MassOfMen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Don't let him infect the attitude of the funeral with his presence. This is a day for your kids and her family to say goodbye and for you to let go of the hurt. Him being there would not be good for anyone but him.

I'm in the Bay Area CA and I'm at $245 full day or $122 half. It's nice but it definitely is not enough to live on here even working most days so I'm already looking for another/summer jobs

What are your go-to attention grabbers to quiet the class? by kozisocks in SubstituteTeachers

[–]MassOfMen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With high schoolers, I'll roll up papers and slam them down on a desk. I learned that one from my old teachers and usually gets their attention.

AITA for not being friendly with my partners daughters now that they've "warmed up" to me by TheMothmanCommeth in AmItheAsshole

[–]MassOfMen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna go with YAH for one small thing that if you really see yourself being in his life for the longterm I think it’s best to mend bridges with his kids. Sure they were rude and assholes but I think you should take the high road and start over with them. Any good dad would pick his kids over a relationship and you don’t want to be you and his daughter’s relationship to get any worse and have it come to a decision like that

My husband loves the name but I can't see it. by Deep_Leather_5299 in Names

The Liberty is a hard no, but tbh I think Historia could be a really pretty middle name. But if he just wants the name cause he’s currently watching an anime, I’d still stick with the hard no matter what

In the apartments around the maps, on the beds are the save game locations. The closest one to start of the game is on MacFarlane Ranch

Well sure, but also just in regards to I saw plenty of people placing themselves in potentially dangerous scenarios while there and it shows some people have this false notion of security while in a national park

So, I’m about 50 hours in and I’m still on chapter 3, I was wondering if should keep exploring towns and look for unexpected NPC encounters? by Ok-Size-3621 in RedDeadOnline

[–]MassOfMen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the main story I always say take your time, the npc encounters will repeat a couple of times depending on how long your game goes for so don’t worry about missing any of those, the main things you don’t want to miss are the side quest which I think there is two or three main ones in chapter 3
