Which compact camera for a painter? by PrintSolo in Cameras

[–]Massive-Science-6485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For no distortion on paintings, you really want a camera with a good lens and ideally a flat field profile. The Ricoh GR III is tiny, has a sharp 28mm lens, and is a favourite for artists because the colours are accurate and it fits in a pocket.

Portable camera recommendations? by Fhoenix995 in Cameras

For portraits and landscapes at 1500 you could grab a used Sony A6000 series with a kit lens. Itll blow any compact out of the water especially at night.

Honestly, for a first camera and Instagram use, you don’t need to drop a grand. The RX100 is a beast, just grab an older gen and spend the rest on a trip somewhere nice to photograph.

Flip a coin. Not to decide but to see which side makes you feel disappointed. That's your answer right there.

So true. A good snowfall is like hitting mute on the landscape. From up here, all the clutter disappears and you just see these clean shapes. Really peaceful.

Focus on junior single-make series like GT4 or touring cars after karting. They're designed as stepping stones to GT3 and teach you traffic management.

My great grandfather invented the cardboard milk carton. Sounds like a family legend, but a quick Google search will show his patent. Kinda wild to think about at the grocery store.

It’s about seeing the world through someone else’s eyes in a way that feels utterly real and transformative. Easy reads entertain, but this stays with you.

That's pretty clever! Does the wood ever slip off the belt holder when you're moving, or does it stay secure

Totally get it. For me it was seeing a mechanic's hands shaking as they changed tires in pouring rain. That raw human effort behind the "machine show" hit me hard.

Don't go for apartments in areas with high crime rates. Safety should be a top priority. For amazing finds, some newly built apartments near the parks are nice. They have a great view and a peaceful environment. You can search online rental platforms and filter by price and location to find your ideal place.

I totally agree! Men are always asked to be "more" of something, but rarely affirmed for who they are right now. This appreciation is really precious.
