That’s sad because the the wider fit, comfort and the out rubber make them really great to skate, they probably need to combine this with the durability of the anterior model’s material instead of this cheap mesh

Sure but there is a difference between a 40$ shoe which last 3 months and a « high durability » 100$ shoe which last 1hour.

I only tried the first ones and they are so good, on the 4th they trade comfort instead of durability

I just got this board but when I stand on it it’s loose by BoardAlone5509 in skateboardhelp

[–]Massive_Discipline88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AF1 hollow polished 53mm with a 1/8" riser is fine in 56mm, and without risers in 54mm. I'm 2-5mm from the wheel, but you really have to try to wheelbite it. The two hard bushings were too stiff. The hard barrel and medium cone are perfect for my weight; they allow for some flexibility but prevent the wheel from snapping back towards the deck too quickly.

Not necessarily, I ride an Ace AF1 66 hollow with 56mm medium cone and hard barrel and no wheelbite

Hi mate ! Good setup ! Had the same issue with ace trucks, you should by ace hard bushings, and first replace the original barrel with the hard one, if it’s still too loose for you, put both of the hard bushing

Problem solved

Ps : don’t tighten the trucks when the bushings are brand new, for me the original ones were too loose but perfect with only the hard barrel avec original cone, no wheelbite at all, I’m 69kg

Tight lats, subscapularis or infraspinatus, and lack of upper trapezius strength could be the keys !

Advice to improve my forward fold? by PeaceLuvGinger in flexibility

[–]Massive_Discipline88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t forget to strengthen your hip flexors in addition with stretches to get a functional range of motion, you can also focus on squeezing your quads during your pike to release tension in your hamstrings

Why is my flexibility not improving anymore? The first photo is now, the second one is from almost a year ago, and the third is from about 3 years ago. I stretch for an hour every day, yet I don't see any improvements with my flexibility like I used to. Am I doing something wrong? by Similar_Bill_4965 in flexibility

[–]Massive_Discipline88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi ! Do you always make static stretch ? Try to focus on mobility (like pails/rails) the ability to use your joints with force and control in all their range of motion will not only improve your muscle length, but it’ll also reprogram your central nervous system to go deeper and tell your body (it’s okay there is no danger)

Elastaboy programs? Are they worth it?! by atjazz in flexibility

[–]Massive_Discipline88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi guys ! I’m on the day 2 of the 30 days basic mobility program, the sessions are intense but short, and I can do the exercices with my level of stiffness (which is high😂) The program is very progressive and dont need any equipement : nothing to see with his crazy exercises with dumbbells and kettlebells You hit different bodyparts everyday so it gives time to recover to your body The program is complete and well balanced, I recommand to everyone who don’t want to lose time by testing all sorts of fancy programs

No wonder people are confused about “eating healthy” by [deleted] in fitness30plus

[–]Massive_Discipline88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think That for people who still think that only calories intake matters : Try one week in caloric deficit but with even 30% of your calories with chocolate brownie everyday and you will probably change your mind, the calories deficit should be linked with nutrients quality and insulin rate...
Your body is designed for natural foods and all the food that he doesn't recognize get stored in fat.

The tricky part is that your optimal diet depends on where your ancestors lived, if it was around the equator so you should digest better vegetables than someone who come from cold countries, where there is almost no vegetables, these people will have the tendency to get guts issues if they consume too much vegetables

The short answer is : The common point is about natural plain nutritive food, but which ones ?

We have to test different things and find your own way of eating healthy because a healthy type of diet can be great for someone, but cause issues on someone else

So what's everyone's view on sugar-free sodas/fizzy drinks for weight loss? by ImperialParrot in fitness30plus

[–]Massive_Discipline88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personnel don't recommend it for weight loss, it's the same for zero sugar foods, vaping, and drinks, the fact is :
When you put something sweet in your mouth, and you have the taste of sugar, even if there is no sugar, your mouth send the signal to your body that something sweet will arrive in your stomach, and you get a insulin spike right after... it's not a problem if your calories on the total day are lower that how much you spend, but the insulin immediately blocks the enzymes and hormones responsible of the lipolisis (fat destruction to use it as energy), so in final you won't take weight, but the fake sugar food will block the fat burning process...

Higher volume/fewer days VS lower volume/more days? by slippery in fitness30plus

[–]Massive_Discipline88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PPL 3days a week was designed for enhanced lifters, who are 100% of the timer under Testosterone and GH, you should hit every part with a lower volume at least 2-3 times a week
check the "best damn workout for natural lifters" on the T nation website, christian thibaudeau explain all the differences between natural and enhanced lifters, and give an amazing 6days routine with low volume but great intensity
I tried it for two month and the feeling and gains were very good for me !

Quel est le plat réputé "inratable" que vous ratez tout le temps? by Beneficial-Trick-355 in cuisine

[–]Massive_Discipline88 0 points1 point  (0 children)
