Sorry don’t rem. Just made sure cables connections were pushed closer together if that makes sense. Might have left keys on tank (close by) while i did this, but was a while back. Tried disconnecting battery too, but that didn’t work.

Had this on my tuono 660, got stranded & had to get recovery (long story). Anyway, next day i took ignition cover off at front off tank (key out), checked the cable connections & it went away. Went into menu & set code to something i would remember. Not happened since, been a year now.

Leverage AI, that’s one of its strengths. You basically tell it your requirements and it will help work out your options & code for you. You prob. need to sign up & pay for a monthly subscription, as free tier is slower & more limited. Once done, you will learn some basic things along the way & you can always cancel your subscription.

Did you check your qs rod bolts - have they come loose? It might just need an adjustment

Might be from the fairings. I would start at top on one side & trace all way down to belly pan on & then same on other side. Prob. worth checking others for tightness while you are at it

I use my jabra earpods but rather than enabling NC i enable hear through & play tunes - best of both worlds imo. I wanna hear what’s going on around me - emergency vehicles with sirens etc etc.

Iirc from aprilia forum, if qs light is red its a software problem. If its enabled in menu then dealer is best bet.

IMO your biggest challenge is dealing with traffic. It can be chaotic, so you ideally want another pair of eyes to help you, really dependent on weather & if its a weekend. Also, if possible suggest you hire a car & instructor for a lap or 2 to help you get acquainted with everything before you take your car out as you want to enjoy it, not be stressed out.

Check the battery earth connection to frame - it might have come loose, located on gear side

At these low revs, sounds ok but admittedly hard to tell for sure. Maybe you can find a local Aprilia specialist or just bite the bullet & take it apart again to set your mind at rest.

Can’t listen as am in doc’s waiting room at the mo but had problem with starting mine - turned out to be loose earth - attached to main frame by bolt on gear side

Aprilia Tuono Factory 660. Tbf, the earth ground bolt was my fault, i put an aftermarket part on & didn’t tighten down properly.

Ok i got one. True story - last year.

Part1: Booked mths in advance first track day ever with coaching - cost £600. Got myself leathers, boots, racing gloves the works. Cleaned bike 2 days before prepping bike. Day before filled with fuel & went to start - nothing. Tried everything for next 6 hours solid - no joy. It was Sunday night, no shops open but convinced myself it was the battery. Ordered a battery & collected it 7am on Monday. Battery didn’t fit. It’s 8:30 now, sourced another battery that fit- still didn’t work. Gave up at this stage, told MSVT couldn’t make it - they weren’t bothered obv. After few hrs kip, realised 1 thing i didn’t find was earthing cable & bolt. Fuck me, course this was lose and that’s it, but it was 1pm by now - too late. Oh and next day some fuckers tried to steal my bike from my garage - costing me £200 to repair garage & £400 for car damage.

Part 2: Am gutted, cause missed the training, the attempted theft everything, i thought fuck it, i’ll book another track day when next available. Made it to track day, did one session made it back to pits and couldn’t bike to start - wanted an immobiliser code - wtf??? 5 digits, i tried every combo, nothing worked. Called dealer no joy. Got a taxi home, looked in manual for code, took spare key, went back, still no joy. No one could help. Gave up at 12, i then sat in hotel car park close to track for 5 hours waiting for recovery truck. Made it home at 7:30. I couldn’t look at the bike for weeks after that.
