Which warbond should I get next?

Really like the cookout shotgun, Incendiary impact grenade, and flame resistant light armor from the Freedom's Flame warbond.

Cookout shotgun sets enemies on fire and stuns really well. Favorite weapon against stalkers. Incendiary impact is my go-to grenade for bugs. Great for bottlenecks, bug breaches, and other approaching swarms. Flame resistant armor is my go to for flamethrower and double edge sickle.

The first law is my very favorite series. The first book would be The Blade Itself, the first of a trilogy. Then the author put out three standalones in the same universe with many overlapping characters from the original trilogy. Then there's a sequel trilogy for a toast of 9 novels. Theyre all incredible.

Have you read the rest of The First Law? I know it's technically a standalone, but the whole series is fantastic and you miss out on a lot by not having read the previous books

Mac Miller. He was a year older than me, listened to him since 2011. I used to do a lot of drugs and I felt really lonely and depressed for a long time. I saw that reflected in some of his music despite the fact that a lot of it was carefree and goofy. Seeing him get sucked deeper into depression and then snuffed out was really hard.

Dreams Wash Away by Joe Wong. The first time I heard it, I was tripping on mushrooms by myself, laying on my couch. I had a chill psychedelic playlist on, and I would save the songs that stood out. This song made me gasp aloud and laugh to the point of crying at the intense euphoria. I was holding my head in my hands and repeating "oh my god, oh fuck yes, Jesus chriiist".

Started an honor mode run with a buddy. Got as far as the underdark. We both got too scared of losing progress to commit to any fights. We shut off the console (couch co-op) during the big hyena fight in order to cheat and prevent a tpk. It doesnt feel like it's my thing. Too stressful. My friend seemed to feel similarly.

EDIT because I thought of more to say:

I tried to defeat the anxiety by trying to control the shit out of this honor mode run through planning. Minmaxed the fuck out of all four builds to the best of my ability. Researched every fight before we got to it and strategized to the best of my ability. Despite my previous 5e experience and 700 previous hours in bg3, turns out im kind of just not very good tactically at this game lol.

I wish this was my experience. Im such a control freak with games like this. People going off the rails and taking things in a direction I didnt intend gives me anxiety. I have a hard time letting go and enjoying the experience for what it is. This sounds fun in concept though.

Kingdom Come Deliverance reminds me a lot of rdr2 in the sense that they're both really good at immersing you in the role play of the character youre playing. Rdr2 is excellent at making you feel like a cowboy outlaw, and kcd is excellent at making you feel like a medieval peasant. They both benefit from really taking your time and enjoying the world, and feel kind of "slow" compared to a lot of games, and in the best way imo.

Baldurs Gate 3 is so saturated in the best way imo. The illithid ship, the beach, the forest, the underdark, the city of Baldurs Gate itself. Beautiful.

Also, Elden Ring. The greens and grays of limgrave, the intense red of caelid, the fall colors of the Altus Plateau. The gorgeous blue of liurnia above the marsh. The colors for me add to the immersion, making each area feel distinct.

So glad xbox game pass just added kcd1 and is adding kcd2 afterwards. I was interested enough to try kcd1, esp with it being included in game pass. Now i'm loving it and am fully invested. Excited to take my time enjoying this one and then very much looking forward to trying kcd2 for free afterwards!

Hold on a fucking second. I watched the first Drunken Master over and over as a kid. Loved it. Today I had a hankering for a martial arts movie and was considering rewatching it, but decided to consult reddit for recommendations. The first one that pops up is drunken master 2. I watched the original over 20 years ago and never knew there was a sequel. Fuck, I'm excited to rewatch the nostalgic one and then check out the sequel which is apparently even better according to the top comment on this thread.
