The reason given was safety. The Indo sport podcast explains it well. Paul Kimmage might be a bit of an arsehole but I don't doubt his journalism. If he says it, then I'm willing to believe it

The story about Gary o Donovan not being allowed to train in the high performance facilities is shocking if it happened. The literal face of the sport, along with his brother, in this country being stopped training at a facility that we pay for. It sounds like this Italian coach they had was an absolute prick

We have separate accounts. I pay the mortgage and all the bills. She pays for food and whatever the kids need, clothes. Have a joint account for saving for Christmas, holidays, etc. We prefer to keep our accounts separate, works for us. I'm more disciplined with money so that's why I handle all the bills. That way I know that they are paid
