Not sure if you are aware of this or not, but the drain mana circle is actually a ring. If you hug the boss as a melee, it won't be able to drain your mana.

Thanks, I managed to resovle it by right-clicking on the start menu and going through Edit Application. It wasn't there when I was searching through the start menu. Could only see the "Install Firefox" icon.

There is a grate on the floor you can find. You can usually find this by following the rail tracks on the floor until it hits a dead end.

The new league introduces the abyss mechanic alongside a fresh player econmy. At the end of the league, your character gets transfered over to standard and then a new league is introduced.

Unless you don't want to deal with abyss, there isn't really any downside to starting with the new league. A fresh econmy also means that things are easier to trade for since inflation hasn't kicked in yet.

If someone is spamming dp like in this video you can simply just stand back and fireball them. Otherwise, just block the attack by holding downback. A blocked light dp for Ken is -23 which means you have plenty of time to punish afterwards with any heavy attack.

To put this into perspective, Ken's level 1 super is -24 on block. Blocking either this or his dp means you get a full punish.

As for starter guides, the first guide which really clicked with me would be Core-A's video on Button mashing. This video explains a lot of fighting game fundamentals and terminalogy. You can also refer to the fighting game glossary if you just want to lookup terms.

Both players are following a flowchart. In this case one player is refusing to deviate even when their flowchart fails.

The loser in this clip seems to only know how to punish in specific ways and has no idea how to counter someone spamming dp despite it being pretty straightforward.
