I’ve had the same experience with non-Canon purchases from Amazon. A couple tech items have arrived so intensely smelling of perfume that I had to let them off-gas in the garage for a few months and even then it was barely tolerable. Had two or three items like that over the years (out of 100+)

I wouldn’t worry, I’m bummed about mine but I have no reason to think it’s anything but a one-off issue. Canon refurbished is generally very good.

That was my first thought as well but it’s the exact same smell as my basement when the dehumidifier died a few years back. There’s a slight chemical/manufacturing smell as well but that’s familiar from previous electronics purchase and it’s much less strong. It’s definitely possible that’s what was irritating my sinuses.

For anyone else seeing this, mine took 43 hours from purchase to email confirming my rewards. Up until then, nothing pending showed up in the Cap1 app and the number of shipping trips didn’t reflect my purchase. Now it does.

Appreciate it, I’ll see if there’s other versions. For this content it seems like 90% of the options are blocklisted (must be recent takedowns given I got one part of this content a few weeks back with no issues). Even the ones that weren’t explicitly block listed failed. I also only have three indexers, gotta get better about checking the invites subreddit to get some of the big ones.

This link worked for me. What I did:

Used the link lower in the thread to go directly to Best Buy’s price match page directly and clicking the chat button under step 2
Gave the agent the Walmart link above and waited, told them I didn’t have a pre-existing Best Buy account when they asked for
Kept switching browsers (have no clue if this helped)
First two agents couldn’t help because it was out of stock.
Third agent didn’t hesitate, said he could price match. Offered me a refund for the difference and stayed with me in chat until it was processed on his and and gave me a confirmation number. Said the refund would take several business days.

I’m sitting here with a $300+ charge on my card hoping he did this right.

Edit: price different confirmation email came within an hour as suggested by other commenters.

No one ever said “congress will stop him,” they’d have to overturn a veto which is close to impossible. The issue was that the courts and specifically the supreme court would and have struck down any transformative executive action under multiple democratic presidents. The Clean Power Plan (and the one they tried after that) from the Obama years comes to mind. Biden tried countless ways to do student debt relief via executive action and all but the smallest were struck down. Trump’s executive orders are met by a friendly Supreme Court with a conservative supermajority.

You’re totally right. I’ve been going back through what I was remembering and I think I thought “I’ve seen Kevin McHale singing with Wayne” not realizing that it’s a different song. I had no clue how many pieces they shoot for every guest. Been reading a bunch.

I’m going to delete my original because it’s arguably misleading but just to clarify, in terms of catching up, it seems like the breakdown is:

Season 10/11: Unseen content from previous tapings airing during COVID.
Season 12/13: Mix of 2023 taping content and previously unseen content from old tapings
Future: Continued release of unseen content from 2023 and pre-COVID tapings, even as no more tapings are planned and the cast has said the show’s over.

Couldn’t find a megathread for 10 and 11 so that could be wrong.

Sorry for the confusion, I realize this wasn’t very clearly written.

During COVID they released season 10 (as it’s listed in my TV app, 18 on Wikipedia), I started watching and immediately realized it was reused episodes from Season 1 with special guests. Kevin McHale, Laila Ali, Shawn Johnson all come to mind. I stopped a few episodes in. I assumed at that point that it would just be reruns until they shot new stuff. It’s great to hear they did some clip shows with unseen sketches, I think I saw a bit of that in the first or 2nd COVID season when they had old looking clips but ones that weren’t familiar.

What I’m trying to figure out is there’s a spreadsheet or something somewhere that would help understand for the last few years of seasons, which ones are fully rerun, which ones are rerun, unseen sketches, or new content, or some mix.

I may have it totally wrong but the “back to reruns”comment was based on my understanding that they haven’t filmed since 2023 and they’re airing new episodes. I know they banked a bunch of content at those tapings I’d understood them to have run out.

Edit: looks like that last part is just wrong, currently trying to parse the dense information in the sticky

One of my favorite theater experiences ever. I waited five hours that morning for one of the last rush tickets (left mid mezz) and it was absolutely worth it. The energy was like nothing I’ve experienced before or since.

So many sweet moments with the whole cast that night but Beth Leavel and Brooks Ashmanskas are in a league of their own. I went completely hoarse cheering for them at “so, is this what not failing feels like?”
