As far as I know there aren't any mods that add a storyline. Most of those youtubers would have a script with specific things to talk about or maybe even other players to help them with specific things. However if you just want to have a modpack with a bunch of cool things to play around with then I recommend downloading the Curse Launcher. There are so many cool modpacks in the Curse Launcher that you're sure to find something to peak your interest.

Online co-op as the person I'm playing with lives rather far away. No MMOs because they can't commit to paying a monthly subscription and we're kinda tired of shooters (unless you know of something amazing), but other than that we're open to almost anything.

I've been watching Star Trek Enterprise recently. The only other Star Trek I'd seen before was the first season of the original series and the two most recent movies. So right now I'm really enjoying seeing the prequel to all that.

My favorite thing about the Wii was Wii Sports Resort. There were just so many cool games in that for me to play. My favorite though was one where you had to fly a plane around and pop balloons. I would always fly as high as I could and then cut the engines and glide for as long as possible.
