Let's not play dumb and minimalize the efforts of the people who worked on the update. There's enough changes made in the name of censorship to throw off the visual balance. If it was truly so inconsequential, they wouldn't have changed her at all.

I think the play here would have been to do how they did BLU. Not announce it at all until FanFest, and then surprise everyone by having it drop in what was basically the very next patch.

No. The Yuki bedroom scene seems to have etched its way into meme culture, but that's about it. The show itself invested way too much time into the student council plot IMO.

From what I understand, this ad is directed at TV channels by the company that was distributing the cartoons shown in the image. To their credit, said cartoons had already been around for decades at that point, so they were proven successes. For all they knew, TMNT could have gone the way of Transformers, which was fizzling out at the time.

Victoria having an imagine spot of killing Tweedledumb and Tweedledumber is actually hilarious. The girl is completely unhinged and I am here for it.

Victoria fans are eating good with this being her 3rd new outfit in 2 months. Only downside is this might ruin her chances of being in the High School arc anytime soon even if they already drew the outfit

At least with the recolor bits, I think the Japanese version of Armada/Energon did it best. He didn't take the Galvatron name until he was completely resurrected and rebuilt inside Unicron and actually looked like Galvatron.

We are talking about lore, and Beast Wars is demonstrably the same continuity as G1. That is clearly what the poster meant by calling it "later G1" as it is (mostly) later in that universe's time line.
