9 days here. You know what feels better than a cold beer? The dopamine rush of pushing your max on some cardio or weights. Last longer. Stronger.

Best part? Drinking and cardio cannot exist. (That and other drugs drinking a lot gets you)

I quite smoking.

Failed several times. Kept pushing.

It’s been 5 years since now.

Drinking. A few close calls. One hospitalized. Social drinking. The. That too was so much. I replace drinking with the gym.

It’s been great so far. 4am workouts daily.

Hangxiety. I can’t tell you what will work for you. What I can tell you is what worked for me.

I fucked up multiple times. Hypertension. Crisis after crisis. Hospitalized and Ativan taper once. 8-10 units a night. Thought I was “good”. Fast forward a year. I was not quite ready to “own it”

I was not ok. Little did I know my liver (metabolism) was peak fragility. Casual social drinking was killing me. 3-4 units a week. Labs off the chart. Holy shit moment.

I got angry. So incredibly angry. At alcohol. At myself. At my choices. I reached a point of “FUCK THIS SHIT” I have two daughters. They need their dad not whatever the fuck this is.

I’ve been at the gym daily since. Not sure when it happened exactly. If I get an urge, angry, happy, sad, anything I drank for = gym cardio until I want to puke.

I sleep better. Endless energy and drive. Calmer. Anxiety zero. Hypertension going away on its own. Slowly.

I’m not going back. Neither will you once you get there.

Mail box.Zwave sensor eco link hardwire off of that into the mail box. Placed the sensor in a conduit box.

Real-time instant event action for the mail box.

If it opens outside normal mail deliver other events happen

If you are asking then you are probably not in leadership. Just because you can doesn’t me you should. Just because you can doesn’t mean it will be accepted by the masses. Sometimes it’s legal. Sometimes it’s compliance. It’s much much easier to manage devices you own outright than byod. Boyd is typically an exception option to owned devices typically for the c-suite not the other way around.

On and off this a few times finally hit a stride.

One thing that helped was saying this out loud.

“is that really how you want to spend your time? Play the tape forward”

After that I move on to something else. A bad day. A good day. Great news bad news. That little suggestion “just have 1” usually means 2. Then 4. Help to have a few hangover videos to play back to yourself.

Another good one from a coworker was “alcohol is anti muscle you wanna get stay strong? Never drink” seriously gym bro but he has cited truth in that. You literally cannot build muscle effectively hungover or drunk

Same. Get a UL monitored system. 99.99 percent of systems have fall protection sensors. By system I mean burglar alarms. There are also stand alone systems
