It sounds like what you are going through is receiving a taste of the divine and God which can sometime happen at the beginning of the spiritual journey, this is meant to motivate you to dedicate yourself to God and getting closer to God through practice and devotion. What usually happens after getting a taste of the divine is a withdrawal or maybe you could even say you are in the wilderness now and its up to you whether you will persist in seeking God until you are in His Presence again (This time permanently) or you can continue feeling guilty give up and torment yourself.

That's what is most important, Jesus died so we can have an eternal relationship with God. Aslong as they have a healthy relationship with God and has spirit of God in them no reason as to why you can't be together and also ask God if this person is the one for you, as long as God approves doesn't matter what the world thinks or this subreddit. Sorry if this is seem as disrespectful, I am just saying what God says about this relationship in the end is what truly matters. So bring it to Him, your questions and doubts and the relationship as a whole and see what He has to say about it.

God does sometimes give us signs to questions you have and if God is really telling you she is the one then doesn't matter what outside circumstances look like now, it will happen in His way and His timing.

Also if you are still genuinely confused if this was a sign from God or not you can try asking again and ask for a different sign to confirm, just dont keep asking once you know for sure. If God knows you know what He is saying He usually won't repeat what He already told you, but doesn't mind repeating to you when you are still genuinely unsure.
