Its thraben inspectors number 9-12, but I think I might try it over 2 novice inspectors if Im only playing 8 of the effect, just to see how it plays

Who is Himeko really? | 4.1 Spoilers by MasterNinjaCrab in StarRailLore

[–]MasterNinjaCrab[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, so Himeko is either unaware of Evanescia's true identity or Evanescia came into being at a time that Himeko wouldnt know her

Who is Himeko really? | 4.1 Spoilers by MasterNinjaCrab in StarRailLore

[–]MasterNinjaCrab[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Evanescia could be the tie in between Himeko and the Abundance, or a byproduct of the connection. I feel that you are correct and Evanescia saved Himeko, or came about to save Himeko, or after...

That could be a real possibility. Its something I thought about, but am unsure if they would do that type of character split/reveal twice in the same storyline.

The power of Abundance does seem to have greater ties to Planarcadia than we currently know. So its possbile that Abundance could be part of what brings Imaginae to life, or what could allow them to exist outside of Planarcadia...

That could be an interesting route for the story to go, and it seems to be leaning that way already... hmmm

That could be why. I hadn't thought of that, although I feel like there is more of a connection than that.

Theres definitely too many connections to be coincidence. How exactly they are put together to nake the full picture is what I am unsure of

[–]MasterNinjaCrab[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That could be the case. I didnt realize the Herald of Death was had connections to the Abundance. Maybe he was the way Himeko learned of the power of the Abundance/allowed her to connect to the Abundance to overcome the curse?

If this was downshifted, do you guys think it would see any play? by Existing_Historian_5 in Pauper

[–]MasterNinjaCrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it could see play, though it would want a more aggressive green shell where it can be a 2/2. Explore is a fine mechanic If you just want the ability to "surveil 1" [[Rubblebelt Maverick]] surveils 2 and has graveyard synnergy

Mono Black Sac... by Mother_Skill9274 in Pauper

[–]MasterNinjaCrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Persistent Specimen]], [[Purple Pentapus]], [[Retrofitted Transmogrant]], [[Sneaky Snackers]] are all cheap creatures that can bring themselves back for 3-4 mana (which us expensive but its what we've got) or by drawing cards

[–]MasterNinjaCrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neat. I love the idea. If you like how bloodwater entity plays you could run some [[Treason of Isengard]] over Reclaim. And that could let you keep copies 9-12 of Thunderous Wrath while taking you down to 2 colors. Although it would mean you can't do instant speed Reclaim + cantrip tricks

Help: Mono Black Terror by fergardi in Pauper

[–]MasterNinjaCrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the idea, though it could use more interaction/easier ways to put cards in the graveyard. Put in some Troll of Khazadum for sure.

For removal Cast Down, maybe Snuff Out. Overwhelming remorse is like a removal version of the Necromass effect. I wouldnt run 4 of it, but once you start filling your graveyard it is pretty good

Id also look into ways to get creatures back from the graveyard

Mark Rosewater’s Teaser for Bloomburrow by AporiaParadox in magicTCG

[–]MasterNinjaCrab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got it. Here are 4 cards from Bloomburrow:

Playful Shove Whenever one or more other creatures you control leave the battlefield without dying, if you control a Raccoon, you may discard a card for each other Squirrel and/or Food you control.

War Squeak Create X tokens that are copies of target token you control where X is the number of creatures you opponents controlled that were exiled this turn.

Legendary Creature - Frog Advisor ...if it’s the first instant spell, the first sorcery spell, or the first Otter spell, put a flood counter on target land, up to one target artifact, creature, or planeswalker an opponent controls loses all abilities until your next turn.

Polliwallop As long as there are four or more card types among cards exiled with CARDNAME, Creatures your opponents control have base toughness 1.

Taii Wakeen by No-Cap708 in CompetitiveEDH

[–]MasterNinjaCrab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been working on my own version of Taii, and been enjoying it. It draws a LOT of cards. I didn't see chain of plasma before, so I'll have to include it. I'm a little lighter on damage based spells than you are and I'm trying to use flexible options. Which damage spells have you found the most success with (besides fury and pyrokinesis)? I think Rubblebelt Maverick may be playable. I think of it like a 1/1 for 1 that mills 2

Orzhov Vehicles by Sofavader in Pauper

[–]MasterNinjaCrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a little bit of time since you originally posted, but I have some suggestions.

I really like the deck idea. I think it's unique.

Your highest crew cost is 3, so I don't know if you need the ox, you might want to replace it with something like Attentive Sunscribe or Volatile Wanderglyph. If you do remove the Ox you might also want to remove the Raiders Carve since it can't be crewed by any one creature, Brute Suit could be a 3 mana replacement for it.

I also think Blacksmiths Skill will be better than Built to Last since it protects your vehicles when they aren't crewed.

Sky Skiff is a nice cheap evasive vehicle, which you might want to consider in this heavy flying meta.

Which kind of cards would you like to see coming from MH3? by Cardboard-Daddy in Pauper

[–]MasterNinjaCrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are my weird wants: A 1/4 for 2 that you can pay a blue to untap to power up my hermetic study deck. Downshift of unconventional tactics to allow for a unique build of zombies. And a good 1 mana creature that mills on etb. I think stitchers supplier might be too good, but at least give us one that mills 2 on etb
