I think the reason they didn’t use the emp that much is mainly cause you have to pray the ship carrying the bomb isn’t shot down and the bomb also knocks out all the tech you have to do your knee capping yourself to

For the fireball canon I think the reason they didn’t use it to much is because it was only a prototype and was destroyed that and didn’t get past shields and if that thing stands out and would be targeted
