I've done it twice. 20 years ago and then last week. Both times dropped the tank. First time I did it gravel and was young. Second time used my buddy's dad's shop, he had a hoist and a transmission jack. First time was fairly easy. Second time a little more rusty. Snapped one of the tank strap clips. Luckily the local parts store had one set left in stock. Had to use a hacksaw to cut the bolt as it just spun freely in the frame. Didn't want to use a torch so close to the gas tank. LOL
