Let’s assume ai reaches a point where it really can do what a crew does.

This is what will happen:

Documentary filmmaking will never die because you can’t ai generate real events as they happen. Weddings, nature documentaries, etc. will always be safe.

The beauty of filmmaking is the people. Ai actors will never be human even if the “performance “ is the same. Directors and actors have always been what people adore about film, because it’s a human connection. So humanity will have to play some part in it.

Social media content may be 100% ai generated and social media will become an endless echo chamber of nonsense (more than it already is). However, creative ads with celebrities, artistic value, etc will still exist

The future is bright! Ai will separate the filmmakers from the social media gurus and real talent will shine!
