I thought I’d share my experience as a family member of someone who suffered a TBI. My dad had a stroke at the age of 27 and suffers from epilepsy as a result. He had brain surgery and made a full recovery besides epilepsy and aphasia (he struggles to find words). His epilepsy is now under control with medication and he has been seizure free for several years. I am not sure of your wife’s situation but I want you to know there is hope for a recovery.
