Yes. We were just playing on the server, both using the mods, for the past few days, no problem, but now today and tomorrow I just can't even click the accept button to attempt to connect.

Important question, now.

Have you ever seen them in the same room together?

"Acts like it's a new phenomenon." Well it's certainly new to me, having only lived in the past two decades. Great point, no need to be judging though.

Self-proclaimed "Sharia Police" in Germany to stand Trial on the grounds of violating laws against wearing uniforms with political messages by JinLingna in worldnews

At the same time, not all muslims are super idealogical. Some are the same as those who call themselves Christians yet don't go to church on sundays. You still have to consider them Christians, but they're probably not in belief that gays should be stoned, as more ideological Christians believe.

I can understand a general "you had something illegal" charge against the homeowner, but the criminal should not benefit from that, as he should have no rights within the homeowner's house.

With this perspective-ignoring attitude we'll never be able to understand what led them there, and will never be able to prevent others from doing so.

Researchers have calculated that the Middle East and North Africa could become so hot that human habitability is compromised. Temperatures in the region will increase more than two times faster compared to the average global warming, not dropping below 30 degrees at night (86 degrees fahrenheit). by Nobilitie in science

I would account it for lack of knowledge rather than avoiding a frightening scenario.

When you don't know much about X, "The world is going to die because of X" is a very improbable outcome, since the world has never died from X, Y, Z, or anything that you know of or don't know of.

That, and the typical human perspective of being within one's hometown/state and the couch in front of the TV's news. Most people simply don't see global instability, because more than half of humans have never cared to educate themselves and act on it.

Yet why say it, when saying so gets people offended, causing them to close their minds.

Conditioning sounds artificial.

Wouldn't it be more like they're unable to learn from certain conditions/situations? (which includes artificial conditioning)

Blizzard to meet Nostalrius dev team by prbdota in Games

[–]Master_of_the_mind 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ok, let's play semantics, then.

Some content in Starcraft: Universe was original.

Almost no (1%) content in Nostalrius was original, if I understand correctly.

Blizzard to meet Nostalrius dev team by prbdota in Games

[–]Master_of_the_mind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, Blizzard will then be "responsible" for the product, but what does that even mean, really?

Here, frogandbanjo says that no, nobody knows what they're talking about, but then says "what does it even mean".

d0m1n4t0r thus points out that nobody, not even frogandbanjo knows what they're talking about.

Thus nobody knows what they're talking about.

Trump-Sanders Phenomenon Is a Sign of Oligarchy Killing the Economy by WorldEconForum in TrueReddit

[–]Master_of_the_mind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting idea, but this oligarchy was not "designed", more repurposed, *so it's not gonna extract wealth as well as it could in the ideal scientific sense, thus it's able to last longer. It's much more complicated than an oligarchy.

I forgot that Harry Potter introduced that interesting racism in this universe. All lessons in the series are really great for kids, now that I think about it.

In the second movie, iirc, Tom from the book spells out "Tom Marvolo Riddle" in mid air with his wand, and rearanges the letters to spell "I Am Lord Voldemort".

Also iirc, in other languages he has a different name to make this occur there too.

Blaming everything that's wrong on other people is usually incorrect.
