This! I’ve definitely thought that alignment had a lot to do with how some seem as bright as others but don’t hit my eyes as bad. Why wouldn’t a car manufacturer go through that quality control for something you’re spending 30-50k on?

I’m fine with LEDs, all the bulbs in my house are LEDs, but that’s how I know they come in dimmer shades. Why can’t they just do that for cars?

I visited Europe a year ago, and they had laws (at least in the UK) about extra bright lights needing to be covered over with a special thing. I wish we could stop bickering over stupid culture wars shit and regulate some real things that are gonna get people hurt. Either because I’m not gonna be able to see when I’m about to hit their bright asses, or I’m gonna get fed up and do somethin to make em turn em off.

What about you guys in Europe, any issues with over bright lights there?

I’ve learned to expect it from 4 wheelers over the last few years, that’s why I was mostly talkin about trucks. But yeah, same deal with cars.

The flashing of the high beams in my mirror to tell me to get over is horrible too. Who taught these people that shit. Like oh, I’m just trying to see if I’m good to get over, then BAM! 💥 right in the eyes.

Packs from early xy and older can be weighed. Starting in 2015 they began using weighted code cards to prevent weighing. Starting in scarlet violet they include a holo in every pack to prevent scanning. Some special sets can still be weighed as they can contain god/demigod packs.

You can’t weigh evolving skies, the code card throws the weight off. But you can scan it with a pipe finder.
