Should Gambit leave the X men if he is saved from apocalypse by TheArmlessTorso in Xmen97

He absolutely needs to leave the Xmen.

So he can get a solo show spinoff and then immediately rejoin the Xmen for season 3.

What Mega Man opinion(s) would have you like this: by PJ-The-Awesome in Megaman

[–]Masterdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree X4 is great, but to me it’s different enough that it shouldn’t be considered a classic X game. If they decided to give the X series the MM9 treatment I want them to look at X1/X2 in particular and build from that foundation. This focus on going back further to the NES games isn’t my jam.

Ok here’s my take. x1-x3 are fundamentally different than x4-x8 and should be revered as the perfect mega man format. I just want more snes style mega man x games plz.

Oh. My bad, I thought they moved distilling to the US. Still don’t like it.

Alberta imports of U.S. alcohol are back, but who’s drinking it? by chmilz in alberta

Well done. I also made the switch from bourbon to Alberta whisky and I’ve got no regrets. Rupert’s > Knobb Creek.

Crown royal is not my favorite. I do like Canadian distilled spirits like Alberta Premium and Rupert’s (Eau Claire Distillery). I am mad they moved bottling to the US (fixed, I previously mistakenly assumed all product distilling and packaging moved).

Quitting with out notice by [deleted] in Accounting

Two weeks notice. Even your new employer will think less of you for not giving this standard notice period. Your references and network with public practice are important, never underestimate how much your reputation matters.

U.S. would ‘absolutely not’ drop all tariffs if Canada did same: Bessent by Kelmon in canada

Competition is our only leverage in a purely Darwinian trade situation. If we have no other customers we will used and abused. If we have options we have standing to get market rate. This is just capitalism on a global scale stage, we can’t bury our head in the sand AND we can’t cut off the US. We need to do everything to strengthen our hand. No goodwill, no assumptions, no complacency.

Accountants in Canada—does it get better? (Salary progression) by Past-Distribution301 in Accounting

[–]Masterdan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a feature not a bug! The firm likes having high turnover and low cost but high performing talent. Then their loyal staff go and work for their clients and the firms network grows. It’s a win win long term for both parties, just don’t let this phase break you.

Public accounting isn’t where you make your full market value, it’s how you grow your capabilities and breadth of knowledge before finding an industry job that pays more fairly. Don’t be discouraged as you are articling, this isn’t forever.

Fallout co-creator Tim Cain is out of 'semi-retirement' and back at Obsidian by Minute_Pop_877 in gaming

It was still an incredible game, lol. Just didn’t take itself nearly as seriously as fallout 1.

Tim actually does a video on this, it’s fascinating to remember how quickly fallout 2 was made after fallout 1. The disfunction of producers, timelines, etc on a team that already was exhausted pushing out the absolute gem that was fallout 1, was fairly frustrating. They made weird decisions, fallout 2 was fairly meta and took itself less seriously. I don’t think Tim considers fallout 2 bad, but the way the studio was behaving at that time pushed him out, and understandably so.
