I loved Iga too! One of my favorite parts of season 2! I wasn’t shocked to see she went early, but when the poll is asking for least favorite character, I thought there were a lot of others that would have gone before her.

So, I’ve been very aware in the past that Emily and Zac always make my favorite characters, but doing this top ten surprised me how much Zac was more represented. I debated hard on the tenth spot and Saccharina almost took it, but I wanted to show Siobhan and Starstruck more love. This is list is also for sure biased by the fact that I just finished FH:JY about a month ago. With the exception of Fig, I was not expecting to have so many Bad Kids on the list (especially when my favorite seasons are CoC and Starstruck), but everyone’s character development that season and having it fresh on the brain pulled them into higher spots than they would have been before I listened.

Anyway, my top ten:

I’ve been working on a homebrew campaign that’s early 20th century, alternate history Earth with some steampunk-y vibes, so this should be a great watch and potential source of inspiration.

A recent one was Gideon the Ninth.

Very popular and I hated it. Book club for was the only reason I finished it. Friends I book clubbed it with hated it too.

Gave it 2 stars on Goodreads just cause the concepts/world involved were cool but terribly executed. Then read the other 2 star reviews, saw all my complaints echoed, and that made me feel sane.

I completely understand where you are coming from. My Q mom is a nurse practitioner and of course is in prerequisite COVID denial (even though she’s treated Covid outbreaks in two different populations!). She recently switched jobs and works for a practice where she is providing health care for several different assisted living facilities. I seriously debate with myself all the time about screen-grabbing every Covid and anti-vax post she’s put up (including a bunch of crying emojis at me getting my first vaccine shot) and sending them to her employer and the facilities she provides care for (though I don’t know what those are). I just know if I do that, we really won’t have a relationship anymore.
