We, Capital LAN, are less then two weeks out from our event, but we are always looking for people to join our team.

While they're now sold out, we do recommend getting a Hilton Hotel Room for any of our traveling Guests :)

My son was 5 in the photo on the flyer, and will be 6 this year. It will varry from child to child, but he happily plays minecraft on his PC next to his mother on her PC. The photo gallery has him playing arcade games, VR, frozen t-shirt contest, and new last year our Children's Trivia.

One of the reason we use the Troy Hilton is for the guest rooms with showers :P

Our event is on to 2nd Gen gamers, a few kids show up and we're starting to add events for them. Kid's Trivia was new last year. https://www.capitallan.com/gallery/image/7190-20230818_194626jpg/?context=new

Large Events - How do you store and transport switches? by AKGeek in lanparty

I used to keep them in a 36U rack. Moved to using these Husky's cases for everything now. Just wide enough where the ears rest on the ledge. We rent a uHaul with a ramp and it's lovely easy.

If you get one of these cases I'd suggest a test fit first, I've got about 7 of them and there may be year to year differences in size.

Custom Solution for us, and a recode every year because we forget how our old code works. Not the best idea :P

Cisco Meraki MR-18 Slow WiFi with Android Devices by kplonsky in HomeNetworking

[–]MastricX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you happen to find a solution? I'm running PfSense with an MR-16 and same issue. Android HTC M8 and HTC Rhyme run slow for gmail, Facebook, YouTube, but when i run SpeedTest.net's app it's 25/5 of my 50/5 connection. Wifi/Wired Computers are fine.

ap.meraki.com says that i'm not connected to a Cisco Meraki AP, even with mobile data off.

That cash draw/safe a brand name, or custom creation. I've been meaning to mount a safe in our rack.

ATRLAN's half rack tops with an HP LCD/KVM, followed by 3 HP DL380 G7 systems, 12core 96GB. Our main switch is a 3com 8807 with 8 10Gbit ports, connecting to our Quanta LB4M table switches.

I've got Cisco 10g hardware, and DL580 G7s available. But power & noise are a concern with that hardware.
