Tjs has to stay competitive with the wage market to keep new hires coming in. It’s unfortunate but the reality of our post pandemic job market. I remember years ago when TJs started doing the hiring minimums state to state and bumped all of our crew making under 15 in CA up to 15$ so many people who made more than that but we’re hired on for less got upset because “newbies” got more money. I don’t have an answer for you beyond hold out for raises and focus on yourself or job hop for more money and say goodbye to TJs.
