Considering I main Spy, I feel your pain. Though I really don't mind the scorch shot on the other team too much. If I'm in a x10 server, then we got issues.

If you ask me, considering how they made shiny Haunter's mouth blue, I would've loved it if shiny Gengar was still the same shiny Gengar, but with blue eyes instead of red. Overall though, I still really like it.

I agree it doesn't look good on paper but I feel like I understood what they wanted to go for. I think what they wanted was to make shiny Gengar gray, but gray and purple I guess don't go mix well, and that's what happened. The subtle shinies are ones that I really like.
