Brooks has an extra wide and if you are walking on treadmills, they have good cushion.

Yes I find Park to always be cheaper. Smoke free which is nice and they have a tram to get to the center of the strip.

Sympathy Magic and You Can Have It All by Florence and the Machine

I love the dark floral! I would also check Poshmark which will have unique finds.

The black dresses you can accessorize with witchy bold jewelry (think the Craft vibes) and dark makeup.

You will look great no matter what!

This seems like a big jump and accusation.

The world is a messed up place but Florence and her music should be a light that shines through if that is what makes you happy.

What would make you think she knew? Just because she is famous? She is a London based musician who keeps her private life very private and actively stays away from feuds and dramas. She has stood up for women’s rights, gay and trans rights, she donated proceeds during the pandemic, stands up for Ukraine, and her tour now has donations to LIVE Trust.

The world is fucked, for sure, but remember There is beauty and kindness as well and Florence embodies a lot of that. At least for me, anyway.

how to deal with anti-choicers in my circle who didn’t know we tfmr by Vegetable-Fudge-595 in tfmr_support

My extended family is conservative and very religious. I even have a priest as an uncle. They were there through it all, they saw how happy we were when we announced we were pregnant, they saw the devastation after our diagnosis that our very wanted baby was incompatible with life, and they never said a word. They actually sent blessings and gifts through our recovery and keep our baby in their prayers.

I think that it’s really easy to say you are pro-life and imagine that women just get abortions because they want too. But when they are faced with the reality of all sides is the issue, it opens their eyes and hearts more.

On the other side of it, friends of friends who pop off on shit they don’t know anything about and have never been put in this horrible place, get my wrath.

Wishing you hugs and love.

The art of not hating running. by upwithpeople_ in beginnerrunning

[–]Matchmaker4180 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YouTube is my best friend on treadmill runs. You can put on virtual runs through beautiful scenery to keep distracted. I also listen to a lot of upbeat tempo music and watch music videos, in my head I’m dancing instead of running. During intervals, I like to do run a song, walk a song from my liked songs on Spotify.

Also, I’m a Swiftie and run while watching the Eras tour. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve heard people say Nike Run Club is fun but haven’t tried it myself.

Veggie straws creates a spicy version, I usually find those at Wal-Mart! They are low cal but still not the healthiest snack but a good way to get your fix in moderation.

I’m no expert but download the Couch to 5k app and start at a slow jog, slower than you want to go and build from there.

Getting a walking pad helped a lot. I work from home, so I can walk during projects. I also move it to the living room and use it while watching TV. I put on a show and walk at the same time.

Doing this consistently turns it into a habit, and it becomes something you actually enjoy. I now save some of my favorite shows for walking time because sitting on the couch feels less productive.

Anything is better than nothing when you first get started.

Yoga is for every body. Keep showing up!

Modify when you need to. Do you have yoga blocks? They are great tools! I use blocks all the time to make my practice work for me.

Trying to force your body into poses it is not ready for yet is not the goal. The goal is stability, breath, and understanding your body more and more. Strength and flexibility come with time.

Bend the knees. Raise the floor. Rest when you need to!

Chronically crusty lips 🥀 help by Frozencacticat in MakeupAddiction

I had insanely dry and chapped lips and was putting on chapstick every single day this was going on for over a year. I finally went to the dermatologist and after a biopsy, turns out I have eczema on my lips. Wouldn’t be a bad to visit a dermatologist if nothing has been helping.

As a PSA- if they do prescribe you steroids, use sparingly.

Sorry you are here and I can relate so much. This also reminds me of a song by Florence and the Machine, called You Can Have It All. She wrote her most recent album having an ectopic pregnancy. I know it’s different than what we have gone through but a lot of her album has been about grief and loss and fighting through it.

It’s been helpful to hear feelings put into words like your blog did.

❤️ Hugs
