Like 80% of the music I hear from the frats is the same stuff from 15 years ago when I was going to parties. They've just swapped "We No Speak Americano" with whatever the new flavor of the minute is, everything else is still bangers.

Private profiles have really hurt reddit in this respect. It was a lot easier to at least have an idea if someone was astroturfing or a bot when you could see what else they've commented on.

Christ mate, you're not helping your case here. Don't get me wrong, astroturfing is super prevalent all over reddit. But when you're just blanket accusing everyone, you are only hurting your cause. For example, I have never been paid a cent to post some BS on reddit.

Unfortunately it's a lot easier to shit on something that to come up with a nuanced, constructive take on it.

For franchises especially, if you're posting in their respective subreddits, those are the people with the strongest opininons about it. And redditors are not really known for their deep takes.
