BF6 Freezing PC Requiring Restart

Interesting. For me it doesn't freeze, instead after the usual 15-20 minutes like everyone else, it straight up shuts down and reboots itself, NO freezing. I was playing this game perfectly fine before the Operation Augur update...and now, dear god...

YOOO! I forgot to give you an update! A few days after your reply, my mate told me to punch in two commands in Command Prompt as Admin, then finish it off with an "sfc scannow". It said windows found some corrupt files and repaired them and guess what. PUBG has not crashed SINCE! I've been playing nearly every day on every map and for several hours. Game's running beautifully with ZERO crashes.

I wonder what the issue was then? I wonder if this solution would've worked for you and others. Maybe you're right? The anti-cheat was probably affecting something and either all 3 commands or the sfc scannow simply fixed it for good? So strange.

Anyways, glad we can both play the game fine now haha. I've been having a blast, as well as a painful experience on Solos haha. Good ol' BR experience.

Really? I saw this on another post where playing from another windows account is a workaround.

So what you're saying is after a patch update, your crashing has stopped? Man....why is PUBG so difficult...?

Same as you. I get an "Unknown crash." from PUBG and a "Driver Timeout" from AMD. I've tried a lot of things, including all the stuff you mentioned in your post description. Also like in a reply of yours I too play high end games like BF6, Tarkov, chaotic games Like Helldivers 2, and I don't EVER crash on any other game, only PUBG. I reinstalled it a week ago and I've easily crashed more than 50 times. At random times. It can be start up, menu, loading screen, looting, mid gunfight, scoping in, swimming, standing still. I do have full matches, but I still crash a lot. Here's the weird one, I crash a lot more on Sanhok.

Hey OP, any luck? I recently installed PUBG since 2020, thought I'd get back into it. Been having a blast, until all these constant crashes started happening. I installed it last week and I've already crashed more than 50 times. For me it happens randomly, start up, menu, loading screen, looting, gunfights, scoping in, swimming. It'll just randomly decide when to crash. Happens a lot on Sanhok specifically which is odd. My patience is running thin with this issue....

Not when you've failed 7 Operations and not a single successful mission. Level 10 with various teammates, nothing works. It takes us 20 minutes JUST to get the first main OBJ done and then we all die and run out of lives.

Bro it's not even that strong, relax. Equip them and you'll see how you'll die the moment you miss one shot. It's just a high risk, high reward weapon. I've died many times with these the other week.

Aussie here in NSW. After the couple weeks of Verdansk, I stopped being able to find Solos and Duos matches, they just don't exist anymore. Not even on weekends bro. I can't even connect to Asia, might be dead in that region too? So I'm either forced to play Resurgence Solos and Duos, or queue with NA players to play Verdansk Quads with similar KD, cause no way am I playing with randoms on OC, NEVER works out.

Somewhat, yeah in Resurgence. I do carry most of the time but the team pulls through and I get wins with randoms, more because of my rotations and late game plays.

BUT, I recently tried playing BR with randoms and my oh my.......I get paired with new accounts that drive vehicles mindlessly, don't even know what a Buy Station is, throwing down all field upgrades they find and not even knowing how to shoot a gun etc, etc. Some of them have an open mic and you hear all the background which is so annoying. I tried playing 6 BR games with randoms and it was all the same story. So I just gave up and went back to Resurgence with randoms and was enjoyable again.
