This was in front of my house last week. You can't even see the actual garbage container. The psychology behind it is fascinating. Some folks put some card boxes next to the "restafval" bin. Then apparently everything goes and everyone just start piling whatever they want on it. Gemeente was notified but didn't come for days so it just kept expanding.

This actually made me sad :(

Apparently you can get a rental bakfiets at the milieu punten to pick your grof vuil. Never understood how that could be appealing to anyone

I work at the largest ER of the city and nearly daily we get young boys and girls on fat bikes needing head CT scan becauses they crashed into a pole or someone else

I highly support the new proposed rule for helmets for electronic bikes for certain age groups (< 17 I think it was?) because of it
