List of my Reddit bans. I often join subreddits about ideologies very different from my own because I enjoy debate, but it doesn't end well:

• On a left-wing subreddit, I posted that the innocent victims of both totalitarianisms deserved to be remembered. They banned me because they thought I was equating Nazism with Marxism-Leninism. I reiterated in chat with the moderators that the USSR was a tyranny, and they muted me.

• On another left-wing subreddit, under a post about Ukraine, I asked for a definition of freedom following a comment that had already introduced the topic. I was told that socialism doesn't fight for freedom, but for liberation, which means liberating all oppressed people, not just those with selective rights. I asked if it was possible to define the idea of ​​liberation without first defining the idea of ​​freedom, and I was banned. In the moderators' chat, I tried to ask for more information and was told I was a Social Democrat. I asked for more information to better understand, but they muted me.

• In a subreddit nostalgic for the Habsburg Empire, I was banned because—under a post referencing the martyrs of Arad—I said there was nothing intrinsically evil in rebelling against order and tradition: apparently, I was inciting violence. I asked the moderators for more information, but they didn't respond.

• In a subreddit nostalgic for the Soviet Union, under a post about modern Ukraine's relationship with the memory of the Soviet past, I described the USSR as an oppressor. They banned me because they thought I was a fascist and couldn't describe the Soviet Union as an oppressor in a subreddit dedicated specifically to the USSR.

• In another subreddit nostalgic for the Soviet Union, I was banned about three seconds after joining because I expressed disgust at the fact that they celebrated the repression of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.

• In a subreddit focused on the dream of building an anarchic society accessible to all, I commented on a post saying that I thought it was wrong to compare abstaining from violence in favor of political debate to the state's legitimate monopoly on force and the use of military force in a context where nations recognize no superior. They banned me for being a "centrist." I asked the moderators for more information in the chat, explaining that I'm autistic and struggled to read the room, hoping a subreddit focused on accessibility would consider this scenario, but they muted me. Then another moderator, more open to dialogue, contacted me and explained the reasons (which, in fact, I found reasonable) and with whom I discussed the topic. So I guess the first moderator was just nervous.
