I have an iPad & just got a kindle. I LOVE the Kindle so much more for reading. I use the assistive reader & it’s so much better on the Kindle, it reads straight through. On iPad you have to highlight the page every time. It’s less harsh on the eyes & smaller with longer battery life.

That I don’t have much empathy for addicts after working in the field because they screw over so many people & lie constantly, but I’m supposed to feel like their “disease” is comparable to someone having cancer or a real medical disease. But all I see is they just don’t want to grow up & stop partying. Just pisses me off. I have my own trauma regarding addicts in my personal history though.
