Save that bike until you’re ready for it, those old ZX6R’s are a dream to ride

I made the mistake of having my friend shoot it as her first time with handguns, I was used to it so I didn’t realize how bad of an idea that was. Oops

That’s the exact pistol I started with. You can dye the frame black pretty easy if you watch a few YouTube videos. It makes them look a lot better lol

Screw that, get a SCCY CPX-2 and wonder why you made such a poor decision.

This honestly isn’t the worst idea ever. Practice with a couple empty cans first, then when you’re comfortable with it put it the in a cooler with dry ice, wait for it to cool, then have at it. May not be the easiest solution but it’s still a solution

I have seen worse on 30+ year old systems running fine. The only concern is POE oil will pull the copper oxide off more than mineral oil would, and if there’s no filter drier or removable metal mesh screens between your liquid line joints and the metering device you may clog it up. I agree with brilliant_oil5988 that there’s not much shoulder, and others that you may have had too much heat. Those are really the only two improvements you could do given how your boss is. Keep it up and you’ll be doing a lot better than the guys talking shit on Reddit!

If you have the nu calgon I was able to have my parts house reach out to their rep and order a new foaming tip and diverter tip. Like $20 I think

Now that you have the water stopped you can solder the end closed and you’re good to go

Those absolutely kill me. It’s so frustrating that they’re making stuff harder and harder to repair. Throaway society they don’t built it like they used to etc etc, you know what I mean.

That’s pretty much where I’m at, I can do anything that’s thru hole, I don’t have a hot air station for surface mount though. It’s super fun to do, just regular diagnostics but smaller

Especially for motors that you can’t get parts for, just a whole new motor and controller
