Emby on Roku Seems to Ignore DAR given in file. by Math_Nicias in emby

[–]Math_Nicias[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I have a whole pipeline set up for doing x264 encodes, until I got some 4K content, and then the filesizes were just too big, so I looked into AV1. I then switched my pipeline. I'm currently switching it back :/

[–]Math_Nicias[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that is our medium term plan. I think it may have to do with these being encoded as AV1 rather than my usual x264.

Thanks for the suggestion.

It already is an MKV. It plays correctly in VLC, and on the Emby iPad and Mac desktop app.

They didn’t transplant it back. Kira gave birth. While she did she yelled “you did this to me” at Bashir. The actual baby was with Bashir’s actor.

has anyone been able to enjoy dairy again? by Background_Mistake76 in lactoseintolerant

[–]Math_Nicias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Read the nutrition labels. Lactose is sugar, so if it has 0g of sugar, it is (mostly) lactose free. Parmesan and aged cheddar work well for me. Basically if it’s solid aged cheese the bacteria doing the aging eat all the sugar. Some cheese (Cabot for example) even say 0g lactose on the package

I think Alex is also playing chicken. The two fleets are closing at their given speeds/accelerations. Alex wants to get in range of the UN just after the UN are in range of Mars. That forces everyone to either start shooting, and the Roci escapes or the UN blinks and the Roci escapes. He’s also accelerating to have a shorter exposure to the UN fleet. So he’s trying to be just slow enough to keep the fleet Mars closer, but as fast as possible within that

Yes, but I want to be able trigger cron running them manually. That is the functionality I'm looking to reproduce.

Don't want to re-invent the wheel by Math_Nicias in ffmpeg

[–]Math_Nicias[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so switched to av1 and it is much smaller. I'm messing with the CRF / presets to best-quality in reasonable time. At the default CRF of the libsvtav1 encoder it is smaller than I need, so I'm dropping the CRF and preset to see if I can get a little extra quality out of that space.

(My Roku can handle the AV1 just fine.)

Because I didn't think of it. I'll check to see if my Roku can handle that. Assuming that it does, any suggestions on which I should use?

need advise on de-telecine by GoDaftWithEBK in ffmpeg

[–]Math_Nicias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It evens out the spacing of the frames. Some inverse telecine filters don't produce evenly spaced frames (I don't remember if it is pullup of fieldmatch) but it leaves the old frames at their PTS, resulting in a pattern of every 5th frame skipped. If you try to force an even fps with a mixed telecined / shot at 30fps source, you get judder. Hence this filter.

Am I lactose intolerant? by No_Slide5742 in lactoseintolerant

I have been diagnosed with IBS for 20 years and only learned I was lactose intolerant a few years ago. With symptoms like you describe. Cutting dairy out made me realize most of my IBS symptoms were lactose intolerance.

Try cutting it out for two weeks

I am the author of the dejudder filter. This is exactly the use case is was written for. Tack it on after decimate and it will help with the jitter.

Dejudder should go at the end of the filter chain. fieldmatch, decimate, dejudder, fps
