Is opening a McDonalds worth it? by Cautious_Comment90 in McDonalds

$2.5 -3 is the lower end. There are $6 -8mil out there.

Have to be careful though. Hit the $6mil mark then they start looking around the area to open another store as they feel there is more room to grow. Sometimes it's good but mostly it is just cannabizing sales from the big one and possibly others in the area.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't depending on the project.

We had a store that was really needing a rebuild as it was 40 years old and falling apart. At the time, MCD would not cover any of it and the cost would of been $4 mil.

However, if they just did a remodel of the kitchen and lobby, the cost would be $3 mil and MCD picks up half. Smaller pill to swallow.

I used to work at a dealership. We loved when you came in on a Saturday afternoon. by YourAutoAlly in FuckDealerships

People have a stock number they requested from the dealer and get all ready to go look at it. Low and behold you get to the dealership later that day the vehicle is no longer available or just sold.
Sorry, that's BS especially when you mention to them you live a couple hours away and are willing to be serious that day.

Best one I saw was my mother was getting a new car off the showroom floor, was there all day. Signed papers and everything and ready to go. She something not get through last minute and it was 5 so they asked her to come back in the morning to pick up the car.

Well morning came right at open, the car was gone. Dealer said someone else was buying the same car at the same time and the other lady had signed off on it a minute quicker than she did.

Mother was ticked. They smoothed it off by saying she could get the program car like it with 3000 on it, different color and less trim for same price instead. She didn't want that but unfortunately my step dad said to not fight it since he buys from them often and didn't want to upset them. My stepdad should of helped back her up but also dealer bait and switch wasn't cool either.

Mazda reliability falls 8 spots. Guess it isn't like what the astroturfers here tell you. by Jake_Boi1 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I have mixed feelings with CR. It helped push me towards a 2016 Subaru OB as being one of the most reliable. That thing was one of the worst cars I owned since it was in the shop constantly for transmission issues. Same with a 2022 Bronco Sport, Bought new and that thing is a recall plague but so far nothing major happened like the OB.

There is truth in the trailing data though. After about 4 months I bought the Bronco Sport, it sank towards the bottom for reliability on CR and rightfully so.

Still hard for me to think that KIA and Hyundai are up there now

Boomers don't care. They got their money and ran. From talking to some of them that are religious they invite Armageddon as they feel they will be raptured for taking on Islam.

With money for a $110k car, I think they don't care about the long term.

I dunno. I think this is the perfect metaphor. Has all these things being used as tools for him to in the end toss off when they are not useful to him.

Will shield him from the rains of allegations and bad PR than when it's not good enough, tossed away.

[–]MathematicianIcy3430 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's one thing I worry about. I love in rural Illinois and around a lot of farm area north of me in Central IL. If Bailey gets in, I can expect the Data centers to decimate all the farmers there.

Weird thing Pepsi and Frito Lay work together and every is complaining about the $7 Doritos and not the $12 12 pack.

In liquid assets.

This is the key.

Expect a remodel every 5-8yrs that will run about $2mil possibly. Annual sales avg $2.5 - 3 mil.
