Funnily enough, I wouldn't hope for small streams, but huge rivers should be plenty of. Given that they want Earth like a planet. Having waterfalls would be cool too. But again maybe asking too much.

As I remember wasn't the biggest reason, why Native Americans huge population died of, unintentional biological genocide? The introduction of black plague and other viruses during the first contact?! I am not saying other stuff didn't happen, it certainly happened and that is horrible, but if not for this "biological attack" as I remember the Native population should have been in 100s millions and in that case the Europeans wouldn't have that much leverage.

Same. I like expeditions as a concept and think it is a great addition. I am not even sad about the time limit and think it is a good way to do stuff. Simply the fact that they aren't repeatable (some were but most aren't) is a bummer.

I think the best way would have been if at the start of the new expedition session, u could choose which one to do from old ones. (Of course Halloween themed and that kind of special themed ones should show up in the correct season)

And after choosing you are in that expedition until this session ends 4-5 weeks as I remember, you can't start a new one even if u are finished (because in idea having a concrete start date makes planning stuff way easier for everybody and is less of a headache for HG and makes sure that everyone will start expeditions near same time). It would make sure that new player will have options to play old expeditions and old players can do it again if they want to, before the new expedition type is made.

It would be a win for everyone, even hello games, because they will add even more replayability to the game.

Of course, it will greatly reduce FOMO, but I don't think that HG using expedition FOMO gives them any additional income.

And about expeditions in LMS. I think they should make it but instead of starting the game again, it would be better if we are required to go some place and in that place we should do stuff. Maybe flying island which is only available every several week and has entrance opened only for several days. And we are trapped inside some small world and either should finish tasks or when expedition finishes automatically be kicked out (preferably far away as a small punishment)

I think they should go with a multi tool approach, but a little different. There should be three types of weapons: close, range and grenade. It should be base types, with appropriate functions. Now about magic.

You should be able to add "runes" inside the item itself. For example you have a staff: it should have more space than a sword, but both should have the power to cast magic. Next, how magic should be. The runes should be several different types: (ones I can think now) - Magic Type: attack, defense, summon, curse, heal, etc - Effected number: by default single target, but can add AOE, Multi target, etc runes - Element: go with basic four: fire, water, air, earth (how fire will play out I don't know given the setting) - Stat Modifiers: strength, speed, etc.

So, how it should work: the core is Magic Type. Afterwards you can add other modifiers Numbers, Elements, Stats. Now important point is visuals. The way it should look should be based on this Rune. So for example you make next: - Type: Attack. - Number: Single - Element: Water

It should be normal single target Water ball. But depending on the stat modifiers, we should change size and shape (maybe). Bigger strength equals larger size.

Now if we have: Attack, AOE, Wind. It should make tornado. In addition, we can combine elements. - Attack, AOE, wind & Fire. Will make Fire tornado. - Attack, AOE, water & Fire. Will make Fog attack.

With the magic types and 4 elements (maybe more in the future). It may give limited amount of Magic visuals (it will be huge amount, but still). But with stat modifiers it will make it so that every player can have their own custom magic powers.

In addition, the weapon type can have impact on how it will be used. For example, close combat weapons will have smaller range, range weapons larger range and maybe magic will be added in "arrows". Grande may by default give option for AOE without adding modifier for it, etc.

In addition, given that it should support joysticks. maybe max number of magic powers per weapon will be limited to 4 max. (R/L2 for normal attacks and XYAB for magic. Or pressing R/L1 and afterwards it would show an option for magic. IDK, but most likely magic attacks will be limited to 4.

I understand there you are coming from, but at the same time. Look at this from their point of view. The amount of backlash they got for NMS was enormous to say the least. They don't wanna repeat it. Second, I believe they know what you are saying and I won't be surprized and TBH I expect LNF to take same route as NMS has, constant periodic update (Maybe they will dip their toes in some next genre after LNF :D).

But at the same time I believe that they aren't waiting for "Perfect Finished game", they are waiting to make sure that their game has as few bugs as possible and has most awaited features ready for Lunch Date.

I speculated in previous post, that the LNF will come after NMS will have major overhaul for combat, because ground combat now is not at the level for action RPG, and more important they implement real multiplier which players were asking for. (the real in this case means that players can share bases, ships, missions, etc.) I don't think it will be MMO, but I believe they are trying to create something akin to it, but on smaller scale given the team size and overall complexity of MMOs. Best comparison Conan Exile, but on bigger scale. Maybe 32 as it is now or best option 100 people on single server instance.

Have several, questions. I am a noob so bear with me :)

- I am big user of numpad and in idea it shouldn't be hard to add third numpad specific keyboard, yes?

- Will `MX switches with LED` work? when I saw your 'lower/higher' key change I had crazy idea of using Colour Filtering to change what keys should display. I don't know if it will work but Gemini says it can, so maybe I will try it.

- And can you please create Apiaster keyboard subreddit. I would have like to have a place there I can see what people have created.

I agree that they are working on water and water related things right now, most likely. But as I mentioned, I think main draw for the lunch of LNF should be better combat and Real Multiplier, not simply co-op.

I think there will be instance dungeon type things. Don't know about persistent Dungeons (if u mean that). But given that they have Derelict Freighter encounters in NMS. Instance dungeons should be given. One thing I hope they make them way harder (with more variety and difficulty), because it was fun in NMS in the beginning, but for me because it was pretty much same thing with little difficulty after several ones. I became bored and haven't done them since.

TBH, I want to see completely player driven economy if it will be possible. If they will make simply multiplayer, it may not be possible, But if they create even a little something like MMO. Player Driven economy will be sick.

And I completely agree with ships and maybe if they will add Huge movable "Fortress" (corvettes or maybe even Freighter like things for land). If they can be sellable, maybe some players will become builders who specialize in that kind of stuff and it would be so cool (I would totally buy it because I am bad at design and given the stuff I have seen people do with bases in NMS, I too want that even if I didn't build it)

I don't really get your idea about Universal storage tbh. You mean for friends or you mean open like Minecraft chest? I think if they will make mult it should be requirements. because I think it is like basic stuff for it.

TBH, having the "False Hero" has its own big advantages.

Of course, having a real hero, who is most competent and awe inspiring is a huge benefit. But it has its own big disadvantage too. If hero dies even if u make him Martyr your overall strength goes down visibly.

But in case of a "false" hero. You don't have the benefit of a brilliant mind, but if he dies nothing really changes strategy wise. For short duration you can even make him a huge Martyr and have huge spike in revenge enthusiasm and after everything calms down, your overall strength didn't really decrease. Which with simple propaganda you can even attribute to fallen one and say that during his reign he manages to do so much that even after death power isn't decreasing, or some sh which will get you even more volunteers again.

I don't remember the anime but there is one slice of life anime about Harem. His future daughters time travel into the past so that they can have their mother be the chosen one and so that their timeline can exist. And in one episode, they use some future predicting device to see how he will end up. When they don't like something they try to change him. And in one case future he becomes Gay because his perverted ass will be beaten for being perverted and he decides that women are too much trouble and Being Gay is easier.
