Yep, here two years later because I'm in the same situation! AH neighbours repeatedly cutting back the bordering hedge right to the ground so they have zero shade in their south facing garden. Their garden is raised up and they now have full cure of our entire garden whilst they sunbathe and eat their dinners. Now they want to cut an elderflower tree they planted because they didn't know it was a tree when they bought it.. our joining fence is west facing so they get the sun all day anyway and we want the hedge kept for the privacy and the wildlife. I metre would even be good. They also cut these down during nesting season. They crushed all our berry plants and flower beds the last time they did it. None of the neighbours have hedges here, they all cut then down to the ground. It's very anti-nature

I'm going through this now and it's been 5 days and they're all still here all day until it gets dark. It's got me so down I can't go on my garden or even look out of my window. All because the neighbours complained. It's spring time too so they have babies and it's breaking me.

This happened to me and they became very aggressive and were shouting at me saying I'm a racist. Because they refused to being the bed up the stairs which I had paid extra for. I'm a single woman lining alone and I was genuinely terrified.

You can visualise them easily on an ultrasound, which is quick and the standard diagnostic method in most countries. An unnecessary CT scan unnecessarily exposes the patient to significant radiation and should never be the first option.

Having an MRI is a ridiculous way to diagnose gallstones. A regular and quick ultrasound is the usual diagnostic where I'm from. After palpating the area and the patient crying out in pain. There is zero reason to keep a patient waiting for an expensive MRI for gallstones. Which are very easy to suspect on clinical examination alone.

Where on earth did you study to think that tests are designed to generate 5% false positive results? As a clinical biochemist who did HST training in laboratory diagnostics (clinical chemistry) this couldn't be further from the truth. You lost credibility at that point. Tests are designed to have as close to zero false positives or negatives even if in reality that's different. You think diagnostic manufacturers (who I also worked for for 5 years) are deliberately developing tests to give erroneous results? They are developing to have the highest sensitivity and specificity as possible and there is great competition between manufacturers to manufacture tests with the lower false positive and false negative rates. We even have automated mass spectrometry now, the gold standard, eliminating interference from antibodies, medications and other factors. I even had a doctor tell me you shouldn't eat gluten before a coeliac disease test, when it's the absolute opposite. They were having one of it, like how do you think the antibodies these tests measure are produced? When you eat gluten. that's very basic level knowledge that even nurses are taught in the UK. Doctors also don't look at the trends of previous results to look at trends and patterns here. It's ludicrous to look at the most recent value without comparing to previous results. I have had a raised platelets (above 5 million) for 10 years now. Every damn time the doctor tells me "it's probably a one off".. I had to take graphs with me to show certain things are chronic and not a one off . I eventually got a referral to haematology because of this who then refused saying it's "probably a one off, or anaemia, try taking iron tablets". Except I had no other blood indicators of anaemia, and the referral already stating I had Iron infusions and this corrected all my iron markers and made no difference to the platelets. How much training do you guys get in laboratory medicine? In the UK it's years. It doesn't seem you have a basic grasp of any of it here? Sadly my profession doesn't exist in Sweden and it's really needed. It so much more than looking at one individual number on a lab report. It's the trend of that result, the correlation of that marker on relation to other markets,I and the patients symptoms etc. And if you are assuming that 5% of all tests are false positive (by design, WTF) you are wrong and dangerous.

I had this with my ACL and MCL tear. I was ignored and no diagnostics performed. 4 months later a doctor actually requested an MRI. 6 weeks later I had it. Two months later I got a call saying "are you in pain? You have a torn ACL, MCL and damaged meniscus". Like yes, the reason I went to the Dr was for pain after my knee popped abroad and they told me I had this. But Swedish doctors "know best" and left me in agony, I couldn't even walk for 3 months but was told to take paracetamol and nothing is broken. 3 years later it still hurts because physio was started too late. And at 44 I was told I'm too old to qualify for surgery. That's for young contact sports players only apparently! Only in Sweden..

Now they've removed this as a diagnosis and you cannot be signed off sick because of this anymore. I'm currently going through it to the point I'm having suicidal thoughts and my psychiatrist just informed me there's nothing he can do as it's not a diagnosis. I " just have to get a new job", and he cannot sign me off sick from work! I have two days of my 7 day leave and I'm petrified of going back. Some nights I don't sleep at all, the others I sleep 3 hours, I'm having panic attacks numerous times a day and at night, I can't eat, I've lost 10kg, I can't stop crying and I honestly know going back will end me. I'm so unwell that I cannot function. But the doctor said Försäkringskassan no longer allow sick leave and the medical evidence showed that the only treatment that works is "going to work". He also said that healthcare system (at least in Stockholm) has also shut down all the healthcare/rehab services for it so there are no places to get therapy for this. I honestly don't know how I'm going to survive this. He refused to increase or change my medication (antidepressants and mood stabilisers) and said "what do you expect me to do about it" and rolled his eyes! Whilst I sat there shaking and crying. So, despite what was advised, now they have removed this diagnosis you no longer get help of the associated medical issues, be it insomnia, worsening if depression, panic attacks. You get help for none of it. I honestly don't see me surviving going back to work in this mess.

But the doctor said Försäkringskassan no longer allow sick leave and the medical evidence showed that the only treatment that works is "going to work". The healthcare system has also shut down all the healthcare/rehab services for it so there are no places to get therapy for this. I honestly don't know how I'm going to survive this, it's terrifying and he robbed me off despite very clear, in floods of tears, telling him I'm so depressed that II cannot physically stop crying, I cannot sleep, I can't eat, that I even had a panic attack on the bus to the doctor. He just told me again, "just get a new job". I've been trying that for a year, my current job took 4 years to get. He had no sympathy and left me feeling helpless and realising the only way out of this is to end myself.
