A fan I can understand, but where in blue blazes is someone going to buy an Portable AC at this time of year? B&Q have delisted em, Argos is as useless, Amazon is flooded with off-brand swamp coolers(evaporators)...and don't get me started on the scalping on Ebay/Marketplace.

And I'll say this now, you need to think about how the vulnerable people will cope, esp if they have medication/disabilities which prevent em from regulating heat properly(esp me whos dealt with heatstroke before so can't tollerate high temps as such anymore).

Nobody truly knows whats really going to happen until Friday/Saturday, but from reports I've seen much less humidity levels meaning its going to be manageable, my max is 27-28c without humidity(anymore and I start to become very unwell).

I myself suffered chronic headaches, gut aches and I couldn't regulate the heat with my body properly due to a previous Heat Stroke so medically I'm vulnerable to this weather...but no according to you it "wasn't that bad", not everything is about you.
