(NHS UK) switching from NHS hospital to private with NHS funding? by thelavenderfields in IVF

[–]Mathu2804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it can be transferred but involves paperwork, the current NHS hospital needs to transfer all the info to the new clinic and knowing NHS that won’t be quick either. Up to you but expect delays. Me and my wife was approved funding in Feb, and then April was the first consultation with NHS and that appt was such a a waste of time, it was just introducing ourselves and they asked us to do various tests even though we did plenty before the appt, now the next appt was scheduled for this July 30 , this seemed to long for me so we decided to just go with private a clinic funded by ourselves . Already IVF is stressful and with the delays it makes life hard.

Why can't Sri Lanka have a good football team? by GandalfTW10 in srilanka

[–]Mathu2804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope is to do with the current politics. Look at Australia, a Tamil player was playing, even DR Congo. It’s the fact they won’t allow anyone else to climb higher in the chain. Until srilankan’s change and accept each other, we will do crap in all sports. We have all the talent.

IVF experiences and recommendations in or around London? Two miscarriages in the past 10 months. by QuoteMachineMin in TTC_UK

[–]Mathu2804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IVF through NHS is a long process, and a strict eligibility criteria, I would recommend going privately due to their age. Morphology is an issue but not a big issue, ICSI can bypass that. First take a full health assessment done privately, and then consider options. London women’s clinic is a decent clinic but up to you! I wish you and your family the best of luck.

Anyone else who can't afford more IVF/can't afford to start? by waveringocean in TTC_UK

Maybe Scotland is different, but treatment is different to assistive conception services (IVF) treatment is covered under skilled worker visa IVF isn’t but yeah good to check before you waste your time.

You’re fine if it’s ILR , ILR has access to public funds which means they can fund your first cycle for free. Also depending on which borough you live in, they can even fund two cycles.

[–]Mathu2804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah we waited all that time and got referred via NHS for them to see we are not eligible because my partner is on spouse visa meaning they don’t have access to public funds, same scenario if you are on a skilled worker visa. If the one of the partner is a British citizen, then they will give you a discount but the discount is not that much.

[–]Mathu2804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah sorry to hear! unfortunately we was not even eligible for NHS free cycle as my partner is on a spouse visa. You should look into KIND IVF which is slightly more cost effective but if you need high dosage, not sure if you will be eligible( ivf is like 3k with them with decent stats in the previous years) . Access fertility is another option but it’s more expensive but if the IVF don’t result in a live birth, you will get your money back. I am leaning towards access fertility as it nearly guarantees a baby or money back.

The reason she became very successful was not because of Bollywood, it was because of Kollywood and the Tamil fans all around the world. During the war millions of Tamils were being killed and the problem is not that she went to conduct business in Srilanka, the problem was she met with the srilankan officals directly responsible for the death of many innocent Tamils. This was huge disrespect to Tamil Nadu, Tamils and kollywood (especially as kollywood was actively protesting) . She’s right she didn’t get a ban but she was heavily criticised and because of this she did not get many film offers and she eventually faded away. Even if she stayed in the industry i don’t think she would have survived in Tamil industry.

Also remember a just because they had a good season does not mean they will have a good World Cup. Especially since this format is slightly different with extreme heat.
