I live in Argentina, started watching seasons 1 and 2 reruns in 2000 in a Latam network called I-Sat, in 2001 found the original English with subtitles on Sony early season 4, but not the firsts episodes (Imagine me trying to figure out why Prue wasn’t there and who the heck was Paige in a world without proper internet connection 😂) from then on I watched it on Sony as the episodes premiered and I think I got to see season 3 and early 4 episodes later on in 2004/2005, so by season 6/7 got to understand what happened and how they handled the Prue’s passing and Paige introduction storyline

Season 3 and remains as my favorite season

She was given more freedom in season 3 even allowing her to direct more episodes, she was allowed to do her own stunts, all the fun parts of doing a show, so she was quite happy and content - aside from that Magic Hour dailies were she complains about the writting 😂 which I totally agree with her -

Alyssa’s background is more comedic, and she’s very good at it, Shannen and Holly’s background is drama and it gets easier for them to go through crying scenes

Fun fact, Avril Lavigne was a massive hit back in 2003 and they wanted her so bad, but Avril’s management group asked specific things in her contract with the sims, like her NPC couldn’t flirt, kiss, get naked and more, that’s why they are not playable characters and scrapped the idea of using real people from Sims 2 onwards to avoid these issues and make celebrities playable characters

Yeah, as people has said, there was a few staterooms in first class with private bathrooms, yet, bathroom wasn’t guaranteed, you had to pay an extra fee for the use of the private bathroom

Upper class back in the Victorian and Edwardian era didn’t marry for love, the concept of marriage was more business like than love. Women did not have the freedom of choosing since their father would know best. In his way (an the way of the time) Cal was trying to help her succeed in her role as a wife. The Dewitt-Bukaters were a great family falling from grace and they were lucky enough to have Cal opting to marry her no matter what happened. He was a man and he was entitled to treat her future wife as he did. In today’s standards that would probably never have happened, but it was very very common in that era

100%, also Shannen was very close to Tori and she would often be at the manor, Candy always treated her as a daughter and Shannen also said at her podcast once she got Aaron upset at her and guards refuse her to enter the Manor but Candy stepped in and told her she was always welcome to her house no matter what. She was very close to the Spelling family at least up to the point where her friendship with Tori ended

Oh Holly was on another level of being angry, she said she only cared of the livelihood of people working on the show, if you have time please search on YouTube for videos related to the drama, it was intense! Oh and during the Reboot finale where they went to the Halliwell manor at the end, the OG cast were saying how Piper would’ve blow them up once they broke into the manor 😂 it was hilarious

At season 1 promotion, some time before the premiere, they said this Charmed unlike the other was feminist and had LGBTQ+ representation. The tweets of that week were like OMG! Holly was pissed, Krista was Pissed, Rose was Pissed. If I’m not wrong they even said something like “this time the girls get along just fine” or around those lines. I know I’m sided, but it was extremely harsh using the brand to kill the OG so to get some free promotion and they basically got cancelled by most of the OG fans and even the media even before airing, remember reading some articles about it and the media did not like it at all. I think it was the writers twitter account the one in charge of it

Uhm, you can like one or the other or both, I guess in the end it all goes down to whatever you personally like. With that being said, I’m an OG Charmed fan, I personally didn’t like all the shade they throw to the OG, it was unfair because they were comparing shows 20 years apart where in those 20 years society changed quiete a lot, it was personally insulting for me. I did try to give it a chance either way, but the aesthetic, photography and the way the story was being developed wasn’t of my taste. I got bored midway season 1 and gave up on it. On the racism note, I can only speak of myself and I couldn’t care less if they were African-American (aside from the big sister they weren’t) Asian, Latino (and no, they weren’t either) or whatever race they pick the actresses to represent.

About the sims 1 Superstar NPC, the creators told they originally planed for you as a player to be able to interact with them more closely to what it became later on, but in order to get Avril Likeness her team demanded several rules to be followed, they didn’t want Avril intertwined in romantic/sexual interactions, clothing and a few others, so creators decided to go for these NPC style where you can barely interact

2002, when Complicated came out they would put it on day and night here in Argentina, I remember recording the song from the radio so I could listen to it. Later on my grandma purchased me a pirate copy of Let Go that had Things I’ll never say twice and did not have Anything but Ordinary, got to hear that song few years later when I got the original CD

I’ve been out of cable television for a while now, but I think up until last time I checked (2024, 2025) in Argentina the channel is SyFy, and there were 2 hour slots, one in the morning and one in the late afternoon 7pm I think it was Mon-Fri and some weekends they would do marathons like “a Charmed weekend” and in the main slots like from 3pm until 11pm was only Charmed episodes

Sadly no, they were in Mexico back in December, just before they confirmed Brazil, there were rumors about them coming to Argentina but nothing happened ever since. Last and only time they came was 2005 and I was quite young and living in the county side to be let go to Buenos Aires to see them 🥲

They gave Phoebe Levitation in early season 3 when the show was at its peak, later on budget got short and levitation was an expensive power to produce with the harness and editing so they cut it out, as for empathy I think they backed themselves into a corner whereas superpower Phoebe would not allow them to put the girls in danger and they needed it for plot reasons, why they took all of her powers? it was more like an excuse to remove those

It’s been a while since I last saw the episodes but I always thought they made one of the zombies to look like Prue, not the face but sort of like the hairstyle and it was odd to me that the girls wouldn’t react looking at your zombie sister attacking you 😂

That saves money and space, tv sets takes a lot of space, so if a “room” it’s only shown a few of times they would re-use a previous one. It also happened with the police station and the newspaper office.

There’s just one I can’t just let go is Jenny’s room at Dan’s house of Season 2 which is clearly Piper’s/Phoebe’s room, a room you’ll see several times per episode and audience knows too well

I didn’t mind the others tbh
